A new poll commissioned by Siena College showed that President Donald Trump has a higher favorability rating in New York than New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, a 2020 Democratic presidential candidate.
New Yorkers Really Don’t Like the Big Apple’s Mayor
Survey responses from 810 registered New York voters resulted in de Blasio receiving just a 26 percent favorability rating and 57 percent unfavorability, while Trump pulled in 35 percent favorability rating and 62 percent unfavorability rating.
Siena College pollster Steven Greenberg said, “Perhaps Trump can take some solace in the fact that as unpopular as he is in his home state, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is even more unpopular.”

The poll also discovered that that half New York voters responding viewed Gov. Andrew Cuomo unfavorably, with nearly two-thirds giving him a bad job performance review
A recent Quinnipiac poll showed that among registered Democrat and independent voters, less than one percent said they would vote for de Blasio in the Democrat presidential primary.
Ouch.

Desperate de Blasio Lashes Out
Not surprisingly, de Blasio’s numbers are so low that he’s desperately continuing to tell lies about President Trump, particularly in the wake of the El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio mass shootings.
When MSNBC’s Kasie Hunt asked the mayor if he thought Trump was responsible in any way for the shootings, de Blasio responded, “The facts are pretty clear. (We) did not have this racially or ethnically or religiously motivated violence as a regular feature of our national life just a few years ago.”
“He’s the x factor,” de Blasio declared. “He normalized it. He made it. He gave permission. And it’s got to stop.”

Do Democrats Even Get That Most Voters Are Tired of Their Lies?
Virtually every Democrat, particularly those running for president, is trying to lay the blame for these horrific shootings on the president. Outspoken far-left Democrat Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said this week that Trump was “directly responsible” for these tragedies.
“There are so many different issues that are weaving themselves into a braid of violence into our country,” Ocasio-Cortez said. “One of them is white supremacist terrorism,”
Did it ever occur to these Democrats – particularly in this case, Bill de Blasio – they when they keep spouting nonsense like this, it only makes people more sympathetic to Trump in comparison?
Do Democrats not realize that most Americans can see through these ridiculous lies and are thoroughly fed up with them?
And at least according to one poll, you can put the voters of New York at the top of that list.
