New Poll Shows Biden Approval Rating At All-Time Low

According to a new Rasmussen Reports poll released on Wednesday, President Joe Biden’s approval rating has sunk to its lowest point since he entered the White House.

The poll conducted in July found that the number of Americans who approve of Biden’s job as president is not just 46 percent, with 52 percent disapproving.

Only 26 percent said they “strongly approve” of Biden’s job as president, while 42 percent “strongly disapprove.”

Biden Down 4 Points Since Last Month

46 percent is down from the Monmouth University poll conducted in June in which Biden saw 50 percent who approved of his job as president.

Some observers believe decreasing public confidence in Biden as president is due to his administration’s economic policies and also how he’s handled the U.S.-Mexico border crisis.

Biden has tried to avoid blame for the border crisis as illegal immigrants continue to pour across America’s southern border.

His administration has tried to argue that the sure is what normally happens each year, but the recent border rush is significantly larger than other surges in recent years.

Leaders in both Guatemala and Mexico have blamed Biden and his policies for the immigration surge.

Biden Deflects Blame

Biden is still not having it.

“What is happening today, and I’d like to think it’s happening because I’m a nice guy, but it’s not–because it’s what happens every year,” Biden said in March.

The president continued, “If you take a look at the number of people who are coming, the vast majority, the overwhelming majority of people who are coming and crossing the border are being sent back.”

Biden has entrusted Vice President Kamala Harris with the job of fixing the border crisis, and that decision continues to be controversial for a number of both Republicans and Democrats.
