New Poll Finds Young Americans Feel Socialism More Fair Than Capitalism

There is nothing moral about taking people’s freedom and forcing them into government dependency. To treat humans as no more than human livestock where their government masters take the rewards of their labor and dole out their life’s needs as they see fit and killing opportunity for upward mobility.

Most people who believe in Socialism actually believe in “Democratic” Socialism, where a voting majority (THEIR voting majority, of course) gets to take money and resources from the minority (that other RICH GUY, that is) with a gun (of course) and spread it around to them and all the other Socialists.

McLaughlin Associates conducted a poll in conjunction with United in Purpose to offer an in-depth view at opinions toward Socialism compared with free-market capitalism across America, and the results are mindblowing.

The poll consisted of 1,000 likely voters that determined that even though 31.3 percent thought socialism is a fairer than free-market capitalism, while 54.1 percent disagreed. What should be alarming is one in three saw socialism as fairer than free enterprise.

Younger Americans between the ages of 18-29 showed that 46.8 percent of that group agreed with socialism being fairer than capitalism. As the age grew older, the numbers dwindled to only 15.4 percent (those over 65 years of age).

The inherent problem with Socialism is not that the government gets involved in almost all decisions. It is that giving ANYONE that amount of power, be they Socialist, Communist, Fascist, Capitalist, Individualist or Collectivist) leads sooner or later (usually sooner) to the corruption of that power-They used to call this Tyranny or its more modern version Totalitarianism.

If you have spent any time with the younger generation, you will realize if you see them as spoiled, you will not learn anything. If your defense of capitalism comes down to you have nice toys you miss the point.

The economic system of the 1950s is dead and is not coming back. People for the most part in the previous industrial era generations lived in a private socialist system run by large employers who took care of their employees with things like health benefits and a pension. The premise was that you had a stable job that allowed for large scale home ownership and more stable marriages. This system is gone. And the capitalists killed it. So the younger generation is looking for the stability that the previous generation took for granted. So socialism is attractive to them. When companies lay people off and outsource jobs, then people know they cannot rely on the market for their survival.

If you made $6.00 an hour in 1980 adjusted for inflation, you should be making $18.00 today. Companies like Apple do not want to pay a livable wage to people but still need to sell us products to make a profit so they exploit slave labor overseas to sell us product that we can afford under the current economic model. This is not sustainable.

You can’t have Socialism and not have it degenerate into Totalitarianism-sooner or later. The one follows the other in natural progression. To reject that, one must be a believer in the “natural goodness” of man.

No-Way-Jose.
