NBC Reporter Calls Secret Service Over Gun Dealers Putting ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ On Their Products

NBC reporter Ken Dilanian reached out to Secret Service while working on a report indicating gun dealers are printing the phrase 'Let's Go Brandon' on their guns and ammo.

NBC reporter Ken Dilanian let the world know that he called the Secret Service while working on a report about gun dealers printing the phrase ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ on some of their products.

‘Let’s Go Brandon’ represents a more popular euphemism for a more vulgar phrase – ‘F*** Joe Biden’ – and is likely popular amongst Second Amendment supporters.

Dilanian describes the phrase as a “right-wing slogan” and some sort of secret “code.”

The reality is, the phrase came about via the media, when a reporter attempted to run cover for the fact that the R-rated version of the phrase was popping up at sporting events around the country.

Guns and Ammo With ‘Let’s Go Brandon’

As is the mainstream media theme, Dilanian presents the report with an air of danger over the fact that some gun dealers are capitalizing on the ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ phenomenon.

One of the companies mentioned in the report is Palmetto State Armory in South Carolina which, according to NBC, sells “a part meant for an AR-15-style assault rifle” featuring a fire selector with three modes: “’F@CK!’ (Safe), ’JOE!’ (Fire), ’BIDEN!’ (Full-Auto).”

The report notes that at least two other companies – Culper Precision and My Southern Tactical – are advertising an AR-15 magazine for sale with a ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ sticker.

Brian Olesen, owner of American Shooter Supply in Albany, New York tells The Political Insider that there could always be the potential of fallout for gun dealers who introduce controversial political phrases on their wares.

Still, Olesen says, “[President] Biden is so detested by my clientele I could tattoo ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ and it would be widely supported.”

Calling The Secret Service

Apparently the thought of guns and ammo with the phrase ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ triggered Dilanian to the point where he tweeted that he had “called the Secret Service about this.”

The column describes the phrase specifically as a “threat” against President Biden.

“A spokesman for the U.S. Secret Service, which investigates threats against the president, declined to comment,” it reads.

Earlier this week, CNN analyst and former special agent with the FBI Asha Rangappa tried equating the phrase to a pledge of allegiance to ISIS.

It’s clear the media would like the phrase treated as hate speech.

“‘Let’s go Brandon!’ is a rallying cry for the right. Sane people find it amusing,” writes Fox News contributor Joe Concha. “It’s not hate speech. It’s harmless political speech.”

So why would dealers capitalize on the ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ phenomenon with their guns?

“Biden is the Bane of Constitutionalists and gun owners in general,” Olesen explains.

Over the weekend, ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ chants made an appearance during the World Series, even prompting former President Donald Trump, who was in attendance at one of the games, to get a chuckle.

Several songs incorporating the ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ theme sweeping the nation are currently dominating the iTunes charts, despite the fact that one had been banned from YouTube and Instagram.
