Nancy Pelosi Has the Dumbest Reaction to North Korea Meeting

Of all those making an effort to secure a Republican victory in the looming midterms, Nancy Pelosi has to be my favorite.

Whether it be calling $1,000 bonuses “crumbs,” promising to raise taxes (after fighting to keep a $64,000 tax break for herself) or defending MS-13 members against allegations that they’re “animals” – Pelosi has been doing great PR work for the Republicans.

When it came to her reaction to yesterday’s historic meeting between President Donald Trump and North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un, Pelosi rebuked the administration for having such a meeting. She released a statement accusing Trump of handing Kim “concessions in exchange for vague promises.”

And then there was this stupid comment:

Trump predicted this kind of nonsense back just weeks ago:

And by the way, Pelosi herself joined 15 other Democrats, and then-President Obama, on a trip to Cuba back in early 2016. Obama was the first President in Cuba in 88 years, another authoritarian communist regime. Did she think that Castro was having a giggle fit too?

It’s amusing seeing how many liberals were A-OK when Obama met with dictators (and accomplished relatively little), but not when Trump is meeting with a dictator in a move that could avert nuclear war.

“.@realDonaldTrump is smiling next to a man who runs a gulag jailing some 200,000 North Koreans and who oversaw the sinking of a South Korean Navy ship killing 46 & the hacking of Sony North America.” tweeted CNN’s Jim Sciutto when Trump met with North Korean official Kim Yong Choi.

Meanwhile, when Obama called Raul Castro, it’s was a “call that changed half a century of division.”

Of course, there’s no shortage of hypocrites on both sides, but at least the North Korean meetings can result in peace.

Back in May 2016, a State-run North Korean newspaper called DPRK Today praised then-candidate Trump as a “wise politician” and “far-sighted presidential candidate.” If the North Koreans really do think highly of Trump – it’s no wonder he was able to scare them into peace talks.
