Many American Muslims are upset over the Biden administration’s unconditional support for Israel’s war in Gaza, where many civilians have perished in the mission to take out the terrorist group Hamas.
And now, some are prepared to do something about it: make sure Joe Biden is not re-elected president.

Muslim Leaders Want to Make Joe Biden a One-Term President
Politico reports:
Organizers from Michigan, Minnesota, Arizona, Wisconsin, Florida, Georgia, Nevada and Pennsylvania are calling the campaign #AbandonBiden, vowing to ensure that Biden is a one-term president. These leaders have run separate pressure campaigns in their respective states, members of the coalition said, but they felt now was the time to coordinate their response ahead of the 2024 election.
“We’re looking into finding ways to build a mechanism of coordination between all the swing states so that we’re constantly working together to ensure that Muslim Americans will come out in all of these states, and that Mr. Biden will lose each and every one of them,” said Hassan Abdel Salam, a professor at the University of Minnesota and a member of the #AbandonBiden National Coalition during a press conference Saturday. “Right behind me, what Mr. Biden should see is 111 electoral votes. And he won last time with 74.”
If successful, Biden could be in real trouble. Many Americans forget now, but Muslim voters were once reliable supporters of the other party – before the “War on Terror.”
Politico added, “The bubbling anger among Arab and Muslim Americans could threaten Biden’s chances of reelection in many of the swing states in 2024, all of which contain key pockets of Arab American and Muslim American voting blocs.”
Biden could easily lose Michigan – which he won in 2020
The majority of Muslim-American voters supported Biden in 2020, though the number voting for Trump increased.
A swing state like Michigan with a large Muslim population could be crucial for Biden.
Donald Trump won Michigan in 2016 by 10,000 votes, but in 2020 President Biden won it back from him by about 154,000.
There are about 200,000 Muslim American voters in Michigan.
