MSM Silent On Mohamad Noor, Minneapolis Cop Who Killed Justine Damond

An atrocity occurred Saturday evening in Minneapolis when Officer Mohamad Noor fatally shot unarmed Justine Damond outside her home in one of the city’s safest neighborhoods – and the mainstream media has remained virtually silent on the murder.

Damond, originally from Sydney, Australia, had called 911 to report a potential assault occurring in an alley near her home. But somehow, her good deed resulted in her death:

Just before 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Damond, 40, called 911 to report a possible assault occurring in an alley near her home between Washburn and Xerxes avenues S., in the Fulton neighborhood.

Damond, in her pajamas, went to the driver’s side door of the responding squad [car] and was talking to the officer, according to three sources with direct knowledge of the case.

Moments later, Noor shot across his partner from the passenger’s seat, killing Damond.

The reason Noor shot Damond remains unclear. Website Minnesota PoliceClips posted audio of the incident, but both Noor’s and his partner’s body cameras were turned off. The dashcam reportedly also did not capture footage of the incident.

Damond’s family is devastated; she was engaged to be married next month. But the American media have largely ignored the shooting. Meanwhile, the police shooting deaths of black men like Philando Castile and Michael Brown brought about MSM outrage.

Where’s the outrage now?

Even more despicable, Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton has made no comment about Damond’s murder. Last July, Dayton made a controversial remark that Castile wouldn’t have been killed had he been white.

As for Noor, information has come to light that he was already under investigation for assault prior to Damond’s murder:

Noor, who joined the Minneapolis Police in March 2015, has reportedly had three complaints made against him in two years – including a lawsuit.

Two are from 2017 and one from 2016 is closed and according to Lou Raguse of Kare 11 is marked ‘not to be made public’.

Noor has acquired an attorney. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
