This week marked one of President Trump’s biggest accomplishments of his entire presidency.
Ahead of his historic meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, President Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo negotiated the release of three prisoners held by the communist regime. These three men, who have been recently imprisoned by the Korean regime, were extremely grateful for being brought home.
Make sure you watch the incredible “welcome home” video the White House released:

What an incredible rescue and welcome home for these men!
But, one part left out of the coverage was a gift one of the men brought back. Once the plane hit the tarmac, one of the prisoners handed the following note to Vice President Mike Pence:
It was an amazing moment I’ll never forget… when 3 Americans stepped onto the tarmac at @JBA_NAFW & gave me a signed personal note with Psalm 126 on the back. “When the Lord brought back the captives to Zion…” To these men of faith & courage – God bless you & welcome home! pic.twitter.com/vQhdllUADy

Wow. What an inspiration! The Lord really was on America’s side in bringing these men home.
It’s not clear which of the prisoners actually handed VP Pence the note, although Kim Hak-song was ordained as a Christian pastor. Kim Dong Chul, another prisoner, says he was a Christian missionary previously.
Regardless of who wrote the note, it’s wonderful that these men are finally home. Now let’s hope President Trump can complete and job and disarm the Korean peninsula and make it nuclear weapons-free. That will be the real victory for world peace at the end of the day.
