Michelle Obama: Trump’s Election ‘Does Not Give Me Hope’

Michelle Obama Trump mediocre

If it makes Michelle Obama feel hopeless, you know it’s good for America.

The former First Lady took time during a charity event in Edinburgh, Scotland, to rip President Trump as being a ‘mediocre man,’ and lamented that “the last election in my country does not give me hope.”

Ripping ‘her country’ and our President in another country is peek Obama.

Of the two candidates in that election, Michelle believes America accepted mediocrity in a man like Trump and rejected the ‘excellence’ exuded by Hillary Clinton.

In doing so, she once again trashed women for not submitting to the left and electing Hillary based on her anatomy.

“There’s something wrong with us as women that we would make that choice,” she told the crowd, “we can’t be okay with mediocrity with men, but demand excellence from women.”

First off, if there were any election in which a mediocre man defeated Hillary, it was the 2008 Democrat primary.

Second, if Trump is only mediocre, what does that say about Hillary in that she is universally despised by every segment of the electorate?

Even amongst Democrats, a new Rasmussen poll suggests “33% think she’s been good for their party, but 39% believe she’s been bad for it instead.”

And if they had to do it all over again, voters would still take that ‘mediocre’ guy instead of her Excellency.

“Only 40% of Likely U.S. Voters believe America would be better off today if Hillary Clinton had been elected president instead of Donald Trump,” Rasmussen reports. “A plurality (47%) disagrees and says the country would not be better off.”

Michelle Obama has repeatedly ripped women for voting against Hillary, saying they cast a vote against their own gender.

“Any woman who voted against Hillary Clinton voted against their own voice,” she told a conference in Boston in September.

“It doesn’t say as much about Hillary, and everybody’s trying to worry about what it means for Hillary and no, no, no, what does this mean for us, as women?” Obama claimed. (RELATED: Michelle Obama: Women Who Voted Against Hillary Voted Against Themselves).

Seems kind of sexist.

Obama hammered women yet again in May when she said, “In light of this last election I’m concerned about women, about how we think about ourselves and each other. I think more about what is going on in our heads where we let that happen.” (RELATED: Michelle Obama Says Women ‘Allowed’ Trump to Win, James Woods Crushes Her).

Despite her desire to see a woman shatter the glass ceiling, Mrs. Obama also made news at the charity event in Scotland when she reiterated that she was “not interested” in running for office in 2020.

The Scotsman reported Obama as saying that her children wouldn’t let her run for office, because being president is a “hard job.”

Huh … That sounds like something a mediocre person might say.
