So-called journalist Michael Wolff’s book “Fire and Fury” may have climbed to the top of the New York Times’ best-sellers list, but it’s been falling incredibility since publication.
The book contained all kinds of juicy claims about Trump and his unfitness for office, many of which are objectively wrong. At one point in the book, Wolff claims that even by Election Day, Trump didn’t know who John Boehner was. That claim can be disproven simply by doing a keyword search of Trump’s tweets for the word “Boehner” – in which you’ll find Trump tweeting about John Boehner numerous times over the past few years.
While initially embraced by the Left, some of Wolff’s claims were so out there that even liberal pundits had to question him. He got himself kicked off of MSNBC’s Morning Joe for his defense of a statement in the book where he wrote, “The president had been spending a notable amount of private time with Haley on Air Force One and was seen to be grooming her for a national political future.” The implication was that Nikki Haley was having an affair with Trump, and was rewarded with a political position.

Previously, he’d been interrogated on The View by Meghan McCain, who isn’t exactly a big Trump fan.
Now he’s storming off shows himself before they can kick him off – or even ask questions he doesn’t want to hear.
According to the Daily Caller,
“Fire and Fury” author Michael Wolff ended an interview on Australian TV after being asked about his now-retracted claim that President Donald Trump has had an affair in the White House.
Wolff, who was interviewed from London for Australia’s morning talk show “Today,” walked off the set after claiming that he was unable to hear questions about his allegations that Trump is having an affair.
But evidence emerged that the journalist was perfectly able to hear the questions, which were posed by host Ben Fordham. Footage from “Today’s” London studio showed that Fordham’s questions could be heard in Wolff’s earpiece.
Wolff cut the interview short as he was being asked about his claim in January that he was “absolutely sure” that Trump was having an affair in the White House. He also hinted that Trump’s mistress was U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley, an allegation she called “disgusting.”
Wolff backtracked from the affair accusations in an interview on Dutch television Thursday.
“I do not know if the president is having an affair,” said Wolff, whose book about the Trump White House has been found to have numerous errors and inaccuracies.
