Mexico has vowed to take legal action against the United States for failing to protect its citizens from a deranged mass shooter in El Paso, Texas.
Twenty people were shot and killed at an El Paso Walmart over the weekend, while another 26 were wounded. At least seven of the murdered victims were Mexican citizens, prompting Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard to threaten America with a possible lawsuit.
A statement issued by the foreign ministry described the horrific tragedy in El Paso as a “terrorist act against innocent Mexicans,” while a video statement from Ebrard declared he would pursue “forceful legal actions for Mexico.”
“The president has instructed me to ensure that Mexico’s indignation translates into … efficient, prompt, expeditious and forceful legal actions for Mexico to take a role and demand that conditions are established that protect … Mexicans in the United States,” he demanded.

The Gall
That’s a pretty gutsy threat.
The United States should immediately announce a lawsuit against Mexico for every innocent American killed at the hands of an illegal immigrant or MS-13 animal from Mexico.
A lawsuit on behalf of the families they left behind.
Look, we actually believe in law and order and want to hang this guy. But you guys? It would take a PHD in math to figure out how many Americans (on OUR soil) have been killed by Mexican nationals, from gangs, cartels, and drugs. Stay in your lane and let us deal with it. https://t.co/X9ihMoUGy8

Taking a shot at this country because of the actions of a lone wolf lunatic as millions flee your own home is unnecessarily provocative. President Trump should not let this slide.
Actually Did a Good Job of Trying to Protect Them
El Paso Mayor Dee Margo explained that law enforcement stopped the carnage as quickly as possible under the circumstances.
“Thank heavens our law enforcement was prepared,” he praised in an interview with Fox News. “I mean, it has been stated they received a call at 10:39 and were there at 10:45, and [the gunman] was apprehended at 11:06 a.m.”
“I think it’s a masterful work from their training. But it’s tough. It’s tough,” Margo added.
In April, reports surfaced that El Paso was forced to absorb 2,800 illegals into their community over a five-day span. Democrats such as New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez added fuel to the fire by staging photos in the community a year prior and incorrectly calling illegal immigrant holding centers “concentration camps.”
Meanwhile, President Trump is pressing Congress to do something by improving background checks for gun sales and combining it with immigration reform.
“Republicans and Democrats must come together and get strong background checks, perhaps marrying this legislation with desperately needed immigration reform,” he wrote on social media. “We must have something good, if not GREAT, come out of these two tragic events!”
