Megyn Kelly Just Made a BIG Claim About Donald Trump

Megyn Kelly sat down with PBS’ Charlie Rose for an in-depth interview, and as you could guess, the topic of GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump emerged. Kelly hasn’t talked that much, if at all, about what went down between her and Trump during and after the GOP debate that Fox News held in August. Yes, it seems like an eternity ago.

In this interview with Rose, Kelly gave her perception of what went down between her, her employer Roger Ailes, and Trump.

“Neither one of us wanted any war with Donald Trump. We didn’t think that benefitted the channel, we didn’t think it benefitted me, and we don’t think it benefitted Donald Trump,” said Kelly, adding that she believes Trump would agree.

Kelly wanted to make it clear she wanted “forge forward and put it behind us and not pour anymore fuel on that fire.”

Then she dropped this bombshell that could help fix everything and probably turn out to be a bonanza for both her and Trump. Rose asked her if she was open to having Trump back on her show, and she said:

“I’m sure he’ll come back on eventually,” she said. “Don’t you think that’ll be a big television moment?”

Listen, let’s give credit where credit is due. Megyn started the whole mess by asking Trump silly non-policy questions to start the debate. One was about tweets that included Rosie O’Donnell, and the other was a matter about a segment on this TV show The Apprentice. We all knew it was supposed to ruin Trump’s campaign, but it backfired on her.

I hope Trump will say no, but if he says yes, I hope he will be civil and not give her more talking points.

Should Trump go on the Kelly File and squash the beef or do you think they should just let sleeping dogs lie and continue on with what they are doing? Share your comments below and add this to your Facebook/Twitter timeline.
