Mark Ruffalo Claims Air Pollution Hits Minorities Harder Than White People

Hollywood star and radical liberal Mark Ruffalo just brought his leftwing craziness to a whole new level when he claimed that air pollution hits minority communities the hardest. Not stopping there, he went on to warn that racism and “discriminating health system based on income” are combining to greatly harm people of color.

The “Avengers: Endgame” star took to Twitter to attack the American fossil fuel industry, broadcasting his radical environmental beliefs to the world.

“This is where racism intersects with health care and the environment. Air pollution is disproportionately found in BIPOC communities. Whether they are on the front lines of fossil fuel extraction like LA or North Dakota or fossil fuel production and refinement like Oakland or Long Beach,” Ruffalo tweeted (BIPOC is a new radical lefty term that stands for “black, indigenous, and people of color.”

“This is why these populations are paying the highest price,” he continued. “Add to it a discriminating health system based on income and it is the disaster we are living in.”

Ruffalo’s tweet is similar to the conclusion of a study that was carried out last year and published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. The study alleged that white people contribute more to pollution than black and Latino people, who end up being hid hardest by the problems that are caused by the white polluters.

Ruffalo wrote his tweet alongside a link to a Guardian article about a British study that found that long-term exposure to air pollution may increase the risk of death from the coronavirus pandemic.

Earlier this year, Ruffalo said in an interview that the world should designate President Donald Trump as “public enemy no. 1” because of what he has done to the environment.

“I think the world should consider my president as public enemy no. 1 at this point,” the actor replied. “What we do probably in the next ten years will probably be crucial to the future of the planet. This will only become more and more evident to us. We’re not going backwards from here.”
