Laura Ingraham returns to Fox News tonight after a week-long vacation following Easter.
Before her break, Ingraham got into a Twitter duel with none other than David Hogg, the petulant gun control activist who is now the de facto leader of the Democrat Party.
Ingraham attracted Hogg’s ire when she tweeted out a snarky message about Hogg being too busy advocating for gun control that he couldn’t bother to keep his grades up:
David Hogg Rejected By Four Colleges To Which He Applied and whines about it. (Dinged by UCLA with a 4.1 GPA…totally predictable given acceptance rates.) https://t.co/wflA4hWHXY

Hogg called for a boycott of Ingraham’s show, targeting her advertisers on Twitter. In the end, Ingraham’s evening program lost over a dozen advertisers. Since then, the host has issued an apology:
Any student should be proud of a 4.2 GPA —incl. @DavidHogg111. On reflection, in the spirit of Holy Week, I apologize for any upset or hurt my tweet caused him or any of the brave victims of Parkland. For the record, I believe my show was the first to feature David…(1/2)

Besides the apology, Ingraham has yet to address the controversy.
Until now.
The Daily Wire has an exclusive report:
On Monday, The Daily Wire learned that Fox News host Laura Ingraham will address the recent controversy over her tweet when she returns to her show tonight.
A source at Fox News confirmed to The Daily Wire that Ingraham will address the backlash surrounding her tweet that said Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student David Hogg “whined” because he didn’t get accepted into a handful of California colleges tonight at 10 p.m. EST.
The Ingraham-Hogg feud has opened up a discourse on the limits of calling for boycotts. Ingraham’s tweet may have been rude, but it certainly shouldn’t have been a career-ender.
The debate started by the tiff has created many strange bedfellows, with some liberals actually coming to Ingraham’s defense, including HBO host Bill Maher.
It’ll be interesting to see what Ingraham has to say about the boycott tonight. Will you be tuning in?
