Kevin Allred, a professor who was set to teach at Montclair State University, and a man who specializes in Women’s Studies – specifically, one woman, named Beyoncé – has been fired after tweeting a message that called for President Trump to be shot.
“Trump is a f***ing joke,” he said in a now-deleted tweet. “This is all a sham. I wish someone would just shoot him outright.”
Granted, teaching a class on pop star Beyoncé pretty much guarantees you’re not the brightest crayon in the box, but this professor takes stupid to a whole new level.
Well, you can’t say that and expect there will be no repercussions, especially when you represent a university in which you teach young men and women.

Montclair State University has fired the adjunct professor who called for President Trump’s assassination on Twitter, the educator said.
In a tweet Friday night, Kevin Allred wished “someone would just shoot” Mr. Trump.
After a backlash ensued, he deleted the tweet and justified it on the grounds that he did not technically threaten the president’s life.
But that wasn’t enough for Montclair State, which scrubbed Mr. Allred’s bio from its website over the weekend.
Allred engaged in another twitter rant, blaming everybody for the fact that he is now an unemployed Beyoncé instructor, including the university and of course, ‘Trump trolls.’
The ‘fierce’ professor has now protected his tweets, so they aren’t visible to the general public. Why are you hiding tough guy?
Yes, apparently being young, hip, and edgy means teaching classes devoted entirely to cop-hating pop stars. Who knew?
Incidentally, devoting that much of your time to the study of one person used to be called ‘stalking.’
This isn’t the first time the Beyoncé 101 professor has been fired for violent rhetoric. In November he left Rutgers University after openly wondering whether the Second Amendment would “be as cool when I buy a gun and start shooting at random white people.”
Allred was taken for a psychiatric evaluation after campus police noticed his threat to kill white people.
Looks like it’s time for another evaluation.
Allred’s bio entry on the Montclair website (which has been removed) is a sight to behold. Apparently this is what a hip teacher constitutes these days.
He’s practically a textbook liberal in the era of Trump. Perhaps somebody should teach a course in Kevin Allred.
