Kamala Harris Humiliated As Radio Host Charlamagne Tha God Admits He Regrets Backing Her

Kamala Harris Charlamagne Tha God

Kamala Harris was humiliated this week when the radio host Charlamagne Tha God revealed that he regrets ever backing her in 2020. Charlamagne admitted that he felt so “burned” over his 2020 endorsement that he does not plan to endorse President Joe Biden and Harris in this year’s presidential election.

Charlamagne Slams Harris

“I’ve learned my lesson from doing that,” Charlamagne told Politico. “Once they got in the White House, she … kind of disappeared.”

“When I give people my word like: ‘Yo man, I think we should be supporting Kamala Harris for vice president… because she’s going to hold it down,'” he continued. “When we say those things and people don’t see her holding it down, that causes issues.”

Charlamagne went on to say that he still gets backlash over his 2020 endorsement of Biden and Harris to this day.

“‘Damn, you told us to vote for [them].’ Do you know how many people say that to me all the time?” he said.

This is in stark contrast to comments that Charlamagne made back in October of 2020, when he was quick to endorse both Biden and Harris.

“I’m voting for Kamala Harris, I’ll tell you that in a heartbeat. I’m not necessarily voting for Joe Biden, I’m voting for Sen. Kamala Harris,” he said at the time.

“I believe she’s a political change agent, exactly the leader this country needs to lead us in the future. If she’s not, I’ll just be wrong,” he added. “I’m just so tired of old White male leadership in politics.”

Charlamagne Interviews Harris And Biden

Harris was interviewed by Charlamagne in December of 2021, and things quickly got heated when he asked her who the “real” president is.

“I want to know who the real president of this country is — is it Joe Biden, or Joe Manchin?” Charlamagne asked as he talked to Harris about the Democratic Senator Manchin’s opposition to spending legislation that was being debated in Congress.

“C’mon, Charlamagne.’ No, no, no, no, it’s Joe Biden,” Harris said as Charlamagne tried to justify the question, according to The New York Post.

“And don’t start talking like a Republican, about asking whether or not he’s president.… And it’s Joe Biden, it’s Joe Biden, and I’m vice president and my name is Kamala Harris,” she continued.

It was in a 2020 interview with Charlamagne that Biden infamously said that “you ain’t Black” if you’re having trouble deciding between him and Trump. In his latest comments, Charlamagne stated that he is not expecting to be joined by Biden or Harris for interviews at any point this year.

Harris’ Approval Rating Plummets

This comes after Harris’ popularity continued to plummet during 2023, with the prominent political scientist Thomas Gift telling Newsweek that he unpopularity “could end up being a difference-maker” in this year’s election.

Last month, the analysis by polling website 538 revealed that Harris’ net disapproval rating increased by 7.4 percent in 2023, from 10 points to 17.4. Between January 1 and December 5, Harris’ approval fell from 41.7 percent to 36.3 percent while her disapproval surged from 51.7 percent to 53.7 percent.

Gift, who is the head of the Centre on U.S. Politics at University College London, pointed out that Harris is the least popular first-term vice president since George H.W. Bush’s Vice President Dan Quayle.

“To realize just how unpopular Kamala Harris is, you have to keep in mind the historical significance of it all,” Gift said. “No one in her position has had this low of favorabilities in a first term since Dan Quayle. That’s saying something. So it’s no surprise, especially with Biden’s age, that Republicans keep hammering home a simple point: a vote for Biden is a vote for Harris.”

“While it’s usually the top of the ticket that drives voting, and that will be true again in 2024, Harris’ abysmal popularity will matter on the margins,” he continued. “And with next year’s election poised to be close, those margins could end up being a difference-maker.”

Harris has been a complete disaster of a Vice President, so it’s not surprising to see someone like Charlamagne turn on her. In the end, Harris should not be surprised if this is only the beginning of celebrities distancing themselves from her as we head into this election year!
