A federal jury in Washington, D.C., on Friday found Roger Stone guilty on multiple charges in a case stemming from the special counsel’s investigation.
A grand jury indicted Stone on Jan. 24 on seven counts: five charges of false statements to the House Intelligence Committee, obstruction of the House Intelligence Committee’s Russia investigation, and witness tampering.
Prosecutors relied on three main witnesses to make the case that Stone lied to Congress in order to protect President Donald Trump.
Steven Bannon testified that the Trump campaign believed Stone had contact with WikiLeaks.
Randy Credico denied he was Stone’s back-channel to WikiLeaks. Rick Gates testified that he was present during phone calls that Trump had with Stone regarding the future release of WikiLeaks information.
Prosecutors did not produce evidence that Stone had any contact with WikiLeaks or its founder, Julian Assange.
The special counsel’s team determined that no Trump associates took part in the hacking and dissemination of Democrats’ emails. The report did say members of the campaign were eager for WikiLeaks to release material because they thought it would help Trump.

It's the looney left, they just don't understand why trump won,it truly is time to drain the dam swamp.
Agree.... a complete injustice considering NONE OF THESE PEOPLE COMMITTED ANY CRIMES, they just had different recollections but if NO crime was committed who cares who said what or when???
Quote: "...on multiple charges in a case stemming from the special counsel’s investigation." How many of the seven charges did they find him guilty on and which ones? Sorry but I have seen better reporting in a high school newspaper. I would expect the verdict to be appealed but that is not even mentioned?
Sounds like Credico should be the one going to jail. Whats up with this mess? I am not feeling this at all.
It is disgusting how the Democrats can drag something on and on. They have shown their true colors over and over, their corruption runs deep. Everyday people need to watch how the Dem's are ushering in the shut down of free speech across the Country. They are for sure going after the Country. What they have done in the past to people, they are bringing back, so do not think you are safe, even if you think you are on their side. They reflect what they are doing on to others.
The american people are in real trouble if these travesties of justice are not reigned in...
Trump will Pardon him
Again a matter of a progressive judge ignoring the law. It appears this conviction is based solely on hearsay evidence including evidence from one person who may have cut a deal with federal prosecutors to say what they needed and to help himself. What is happening to our body of laws? This is unconscionable.
