John Kerry posted an expletive-laced tweet slamming NBC News for a report suggesting he was contemplating getting into the 2020 presidential race as a means to prevent Bernie Sanders from taking down the entire Democrat party.
“I am absolutely not running for President,” Kerry wrote. “Any report otherwise is is f***ing (or categorically) false.”
The man who lost to George W. Bush in 2004 almost immediately deleted the tweet, then reposted without the coarse language.
The NBC report was based on a journalist overhearing one side of a telephone conversation Kerry was engaged in, in which he lamented “the possibility of Bernie Sanders taking down the Democratic Party — down whole.”
The former Secretary of State then reportedly pondered what actions he’d have to take in order to mount a run, adding “maybe I’m f***ing deluding myself here.”
Kerry later told NBC:
“This is a complete and total misinterpretation based on overhearing only one side of a phone conversation. A friend who watches too much cable called me wondering whether I’d ever jump into the race late in the game if Democrats were choosing an unelectable nominee. I listed all the reasons I could not possibly do that and would not — and will not under any circumstances — do that.”
Apparently John Kerry is said he’s thinking about running for President… because if he couldn’t beat W in 2004, he’d definitely have a chance against Trump in 2020.?
This DNC panic over Bernie is fun to watch.

Taking Out Bernie
It seems like everybody in the Democrat party is trying their country best to stop Bernie Sanders from being their party’s nominee – just like they did with superdelegates and rigged debates in 2016.
They’re desperate to avoid having a communist as the face of their party, even if reality dictates that’s where the resistance stands ideologically.
“It’s not clear how serious Kerry was on the call about jumping into the race,” NBC said in their report.
“That he would even discuss the possibility suggests that prominent members of the Democratic Party remain deeply unsettled by the current field, Sanders’ strength in the polls and the ability of any candidate to defeat President Donald Trump,” they intimate.
It’s funny to watch the “moderate” Dems try to find someone (besides Biden) who can beat Bernie.
Now they’re talking about John Kerry?
LOL – he couldn’t beat W Bush, how in the world is he gonna beat Donald J Trump?!
I say go for it!
He should be charged with the Logan Act!

More Hate From Obama and Hillary
Kerry’s predecessor at the State Department, Hillary Clinton, has repeatedly bashed Sanders, claiming “nobody likes him” and insinuating those who support his campaign are misogynists.
Reports also surfaced last month indicating Barack Obama might step in to voice his support for a candidate other than Sanders.
“Obama has told people in private that Sanders is both temperamentally and politically unfit to beat Trump in the 2020 general election, these people say,” Fox Business reported.
Now perhaps Kerry, who has been actively working behind the scenes to aid Iran in circumventing American foreign policy.
Kerry has currently been supporting former vice president Joe Biden’s campaign, though he did express a bit of regret in not jumping into the 2020 race previously.
“I’d be a liar if I didn’t say I don’t come out here and have fun and your juices don’t get going,” he told NBC News.
“But right now, they’re entirely focused on helping Joe Biden become president, and I’m very happy doing what I’m doing.”
