Megyn Kelly’s new NBC morning show, “Megyn Kelly Today,” is off to a rough start.
Wednesday morning, Kelly sat down with Oscar-winning actress Jane Fonda and Robert Redford. The duo were there to promote their new film, “Our Souls at Night,” but Kelly decided to ask Fonda about the plastic surgery work she’s had done – and she was promptly shut down by the 79-year-old actress.
“You, you’ve been an example to everyone, on how to age beautifully and with strength. And unapologetically,” Kelly began. “You admit you had work done. I think it’s to your credit. You look amazing. Have you … why did you say … I read you felt you’re not proud to admit you had work done, why not?”
Fonda’s response was blunt: “We really want to talk about that right now?”
From that point, Fonda took complete control of the interview, telling Kelly: “Let me tell you why I love this movie that we did, ‘Our Souls at Night,’ rather than plastic surgery.”
Yikes.
This is the second fumble in just two days for Kelly. On Tuesday, “Will & Grace” star Debra Messing revealed on an Instagram post that she regretted going on Kelly’s show Monday: “Honestly I didn’t know it was MK until that morning. The itinerary just said Today Show appearance. Regret going on. Dismayed by her comments.”
The “comments” Messing is referring to was an awkward exchange between Kelly and a “Will & Grace” superfan whom she asked if he was inspired to become gay and a lawyer because of Eric McCormack’s character on the show, a gay attorney.
On the debut episode of her new show, Kelly told the live audience, “The truth is, I am kinda done with politics for now.” Perhaps she spoke too soon.

Megan Kelly is a mess & asks questions that are inappropriate at times (Putin interview). Wouldn’t watch Jane Fonda if she was the last so-called movie star on the planet! She’s a washed up old hag & all the plastic surgery in the world doesn’t change that!
I see you appreciate the dimwittedness of Mika Brezinski instead! Kelly asks questions people want to hear answers to. Who cares about a movie when they can learn more about Fonda’s face lift! And that’s the truth! Ditto for Messing’s appearance. The left is just pissed because a conservative moved from Fox to NBC and they’re all fit to be tied. A conservative?! How dare they!
Problem is, they have no clue…Kelly isn’t a conservative!

I can’t stand Brzezenki or her dimwitted husband & don’t watch either. I can’t stand Megan Kelly either & anyone with have a brain knows she isn’t a conservative. Who cares about Fonda’s movies or her facelifts? I care what is happening in our country & the world, not mindless crap that Kelly expounds on. Obviously you are a fan of Kelly but I am not after watching her during the Trump campaign & the Putin interview & apparently I’m not the only one who thinks that!
