Hunter Biden Reveals He Is Under Federal Investigation For Tax Case

Hunter Biden, the son of Joe Biden, has now revealed that federal prosecutors in Delaware are investigating him for his “tax affairs.” 

This news comes less than a week before Joe Biden is likely to be selected as the next occupant of the White House as chosen by the Electoral College.

Hunter Biden Releases Statement

Hunter released a statement on the investigation on Wednesday.

“I learned yesterday for the first time that the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware advised my legal counsel, also yesterday, that they are investigating my tax affairs,” Hunter said. 

The younger Biden continued, “I take this matter very seriously but I am confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately, including with the benefit of professional tax advisors.”

No other specifics about the investigation were revealed.

The details could be important. Recall that a New York Post story by James Rosen about Hunter’s overseas business dealings was censored by the major social media platforms and given a virtual blackout outside of conservative media.

Now That The Election Is Over, Can We Take The Accusations Against Joe Biden’s Son Seriously?

Regardless, controversy does seem to find Hunter wherever he is. 

On November 19th, The Political Insider reported on alleged ties between Biden and the Communist Chinese Party.

TPI reported, “Two Senate Republicans released a supplemental report that alleges millions of dollars in questionable financial transactions between Hunter Biden and associates with ties to the Chinese Communist Party and the Russian government.”

The documents in question allegedly contained new evidence “that confirm the connections between the Biden family and the communist Chinese government.”

 

On Nov 2, The Political Insider reported that Joe Biden’s name was included as a possible witness in examining his son’s possible fraudulent business dealings.

We reported, “A federal judge named Joe Biden as a possible ‘witness’ along with his son Hunter in a criminal fraud case last year that ended in the convictions of two of Hunter’s business partners, according to little-noticed court documents.”

“The Democratic presidential candidate’s appearance on a witness list casts new doubt on his claims he knew nothing about his son’s shady business dealings,” The Political Insider added. 

So does Joe Biden know anything about what federal investigators are looking into now regarding his son?

Team Biden-Harris Releases Statement

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ transition team released a statement Wednesday.

“President-elect Biden is deeply proud of his son, who has fought through difficult challenges, including the vicious personal attacks of recent months, only to emerge stronger,” the statement read.

We shall see how “strong” Hunter Biden remains once we learn more details of this federal investigation.
