Shocking. Out-of-touch lefty celebrities are embarrassing themselves again with their anti-Trump protests.
A new YouTube video features multiple Hollywood actors performing the iconic 70’s breakup song “I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor because of the coming inauguration of President Donald J. Trump. Apparently they are trying to reassure themselves that they will survive the next four years, after leftist apocalyptic predictions that we’re all gonna die!!!!
The video has reached over 1.5 million views but the dislikes outnumber the likes 3:1 and the comments are flooded with people mocking the celebrities and voicing their support for Trump. Clearly it’s conservatives spreading the word on how bad it is that’s driving traffic.
The video was posted by W Magazine which describes itself as “The Who, What, Where, When, and Why in the world of fashion and style. W provides the ultimate insider experience with an original, provocative approach to art, culture, videos, travel, fashion, and beauty.” So it’s for the celebrity elite, by the celebrity elite. More preaching to the insular choir, while dismissing the rest of us “deplorables.”
The video ends on Taraji P. Henson congratulating herself (ironically?) shouting, “That was amazing!” It decidedly was not amazing, at least in any positive sense of the word. The celebs showed an astounding lack of talent as they talked, screeched, and warbled their way through the song.
Somehow, the (thankfully) brief 1:35 video boasts 30 people in the credits. That’s a lot of people for such a simple, low-quality video!
