Greenpeace Co-Founder Unloads on ‘Pompous Little Twit’ Ocasio-Cortez

Patrick Moore, the co-founder of Greenpeace, unloaded on New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for living a lifestyle contrary to her extreme environmental agenda.

Reports have surfaced indicating that the Democratic socialist, the brain trust behind the Green New Deal, is leaving behind her own massive carbon footprint and refusing to adjust her behavior despite claiming the world will end in 12 years if action isn’t taken to protect the environment.

Even though she demands the American people engage in “a full transition off fossil fuels and zero greenhouse gases” within 10 years, Ocasio-Cortez has reportedly eschewed subway travel only to use combustible-engine ride-sharing vehicles at comparably exorbitant rates to her colleagues.

She laughed off the hypocrisy by saying she’s just “living in the world,” noting that she also makes use of air conditioning and airplanes.

Moore wasn’t buying the excuse, referring to Ocasio-Cortez in unflattering terms for being an enviro-hypocrite.

Pompous Little Twit

The Greenpeace co-founder and former president of the Canadian branch took umbrage with Ocasio-Cortez for her words, noting that there are other options she could choose if she actually wanted to lead through actions.

He railed on her for being a “garden-variety hypocrite” and “pretending to know” things about the environment despite having “zero expertise.”

Moore has previously blasted Ocasio-Cortez over her Green New Deal proposal and suggestion that her plan is the only way because she’s “in charge.”

He accused her of trying to bring about “mass death” with her ill-advised schemes and rightly noted that she’s a “pompous little twit.”

Break Away From the Radical Environmentalists

Moore has sided with President Trump in other tweets encouraging Ocasio-Cortez to continue “blathering insanity,” adding that nobody in their right mind would “support giving up planes, hamburgers, gasoline, and reliable electricity.”

Aside from that, Moore has been highly critical of environmental extremists since his departure from Greenpeace in 1986, claiming the movement “took a sharp turn to the political left” and “evolved into an organization of extremism and politically motivated agendas.”

In a 2005 column for the Miami Herald, he wrote that “the environmental movement had abandoned science and logic in favor of emotion and sensationalism.”

Abandoning hard data and common sense for PC feel-goodism perfectly describes Ocasio-Cortez.
