Sarah Sanders Mocks Ocasio-Cortez For Predicting World Will End in 12 Years Due to Global Warming

Sarah Sanders mocked freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, saying the Trump Administration has no intention of listening to the Democrat’s views “on when the world may end.”

The White House Press Secretary was responding to a recent interview in which the socialist darling of the resistance party compared global warming to World War II, suggesting the world will end if it’s not addressed in the next 12 years.

“Millennials and people, you know, Gen Z and all these folks that will come after us are looking up and we’re like: ‘The world is gonna end in 12 years if we don’t address climate change and your biggest issue is how are we gonna pay for it?'” Ocasio-Cortez said.

The New York Democrat was referencing a United Nations report that warned significant efforts to combat climate change need to be made before 2030. Ocasio-Cortez used hyperbole – a word three syllables longer than what she typically comprehends – to extrapolate on that and claim essentially that the sky is falling.

She went on to state that the fight against global warming is, and I quote, “Like … our World War II.”

Sarah Sanders Unleashes

The White House Press Secretary leveled Ocasio-Cortez and said the Administration isn’t “going to listen to her on much of anything.”

Nor should they.

“Particularly not on matters we’re gonna leave in the hands of a much, much higher authority, and certainly not listen to the freshman Congresswoman on when the world may end,” Sanders continued. “We’re focused on what’s happening in the world right now.”

Ocasio-Cortez’s ridiculous comments are an example of what she considers being ‘morally right,’ something she considers far more important than being factually correct.

She Really Believes This Tripe

It should be noted that Ocasio-Cortez’s comments about the world ending because we’re battling our version of World War II in climate change isn’t a one-off comment. She didn’t make this statement in a vacuum.

In October of this past year, she compared climate change to Nazi Germany in a call for more radical environmental efforts in the United States.

“So we talk about existential threats, the last time we had a really major existential threat to this country was around World War II,” Ocasio-Cortez told a crowd of supporters. “And so we’ve been here before and we have a blueprint of doing this before.”

It isn’t just climate change that she is willing to use as a means to diminish the very real threats that were a part of World War II.

In November, she compared migrants trying to breach the southern border to Jews trying to escape the Holocaust.

“I recommend she take a tour of the Holocaust Museum in DC,” Senator Lindsey Graham shot back. “Might help her better understand the differences between the Holocaust and the caravan in Tijuana.”

Ocasio-Cortez has no interest in being educated on any subject matter. She knows she can make blanket ridiculous statements and the radical left will eat it up.

It’s clearly time for her to take another vacation to get some ‘self-help.’
