GOP Sen. Kennedy: Biden Tax Plan Designed To Please ‘Pink Haired Wokers’

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) showed once again that he is the comedian of the Senate. And it would be even funnier if it wasn’t so deadly serious. Kennedy appeared on Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight” on Thursday to explain a new tax law being proposed by President Joe Biden and Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen.

Sen. Kennedy explained that it is the goal of the Biden administration to “tax unrealized gains on inherited property” because it is a “mission from God to please pink-haired wokers.”

‘The Moral Of The Story’

But Kennedy wasn’t done. Before he laid out how the Biden administration wants to tax money Americans do not have in hand, he once again reminded Carlson’s viewers that elections have consequences:

“And I guess the moral of the story is, this is what happens – this is what happens when you have a president and a treasury secretary who are on a mission from God to please pink-haired wokers who carry around ziplock bags of kale. This is what happens when you have a president and a secretary who want to tax, spend and regulate America into neo-socialism.”

Kennedy explained the new inheritance/death tax proposal thusly: if someone bought a home valued at $150,000, then decades later at the time of their death the value will likely increase quite a bit – say, to $1.75 million in Kennedy’s example.

If the homeowner leaves the home to their children, the kids must pay taxes on that new value of the home, even if they don’t sell it. Getting handed a tax bill on a nearly $2 million home would be back-breaking for just about everyone.

If the children cannot pay the tax bill on $1.75 million, they would be forced to sell the home and lose their primary inheritance.

More Kennedy Funnies

Liberal elites might call it “not having a filter,” but in reality, Sen. Kennedy tells it like it is. Not like life-long D.C swamp creatures, but the way they do in Louisiana, with a healthy splash of southern common sense.

Last month, during an appearance on the Fox News Channel’s “Ingraham Angle,” Kennedy discussed the multi-trillion dollar infrastructure bill. Kennedy admitted that at first, he might have been a “yes” vote:

“Well, I can just share with you my perspective, Laura. Early on, I was a likely yes, on this bill. I mean, who’s not for infrastructure? I’m for children and prosperity too. But then I got a copy of the bill. And I realized pretty quickly that if you look up ‘stupid stuff’ in the dictionary, there’s a picture of this bill.”

Kennedy lined up another zinger trying to explain how the bill passed with more than 60 votes, “I don’t know why it passed with 60-plus votes. I don’t know, day drinking, maybe?”

Other Sen. Kennedy greatest hits include a July appearance on “Fox & Friends,” discussing Biden’s $2 billion plan to halt border wall construction. He called it, “an obscene waste of taxpayer money,” and even, “crime against nature and intelligence because border walls effectively protect a country’s border.”

But the money quote of this exchange, after saying that he did not believe the Biden administration had ever been truthful about the border, he said that his conclusion on Biden’s decision to halt the building of the wall, “What do you call a genius in President Biden’s Homeland Security Department? A visitor.”

Kennedy has described critical race theory as, “cynical, ahistorical, sophomoric, insipid and dumb as a bag of hair.”

But perhaps the all time best Sen. Kennedy quote came on yet another appearance back in July during a discussion of Texas state Democrat lawmakers fleeing to Washington D.C. to avoid a vote on a voting rights bill in Texas.

Kennedy came to the conclusion that there were only two reasons why Texas Democrats did not see the need for voter I.D.:

“And I say gently to my Democratic friends from Texas, if you don’t, if you don’t see the need for that, then there are one or two close circumstances here. Either you’re so dumb, you lose your place during sex, or you want to cheat. And those are your two choices.”

Middle Class Hurt Most By Proposed Tax Law

Sen. Kennedy also said during his appearance with Tucker Carlson Thursday night that, should the law go into effect, it “is going to affect millions and millions of middle class Americans” and “maul the real estate market.”

Back in July, Sec. Yellen was warning that not raising the debt ceiling would cause “irreparable harm,” and that the government would run out of money by October and face a shut down.
