GOP Officials Just Gave This Order About Donald Trump – Had Enough, Yet?

Donald Trump

These Washington so-called leaders just don’t get it. If they had listened to the American people to begin with, the GOP frontrunner Donald Trump would’ve never gotten into the race. The American people now have started a movement with no label other than the silent majority, and they’re coming after the fat cats in Washington DC.

When I read about Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell reportedly telling members this last week they can run ads against Donald Trump if he becomes the Republican nominee, I couldn’t contain myself.

McConnell is not the person to speak against Trump. McConnell is the very type of Republican that has caused the anti-establishment mentality in the Republican voter. His bashing of Trump will only serve as an endorsement for many Republican voters.

From The Daily Caller:

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell reportedly told colleagues they will drop GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump “like a hot rock.”

McConnell reassured Republican members of the upper chamber they could run negative ads against Trump if he becomes the nominee and it threatens their re-election, reports The New York Times.

Additionally, McConnell told Republican senators during the members’ weekly lunch that the potential of Trump losing to Hillary Clinton is a given and it is best to describe to voters that a Republican Senate is a necessary check to a Clinton presidency.

Senators inside the lunch said McConnell reminded them of his successful 1996 re-election campaign when he won by a wide margin during President Bill Clinton’s easy re-election bid.

Once again, the so-called experts find themselves stepping out against the people, the voters, and their will make a change. What McConnell seems to forget – or not care about – is the last midterms was a mandate. People are tired of the “do as I say, not as I do” attitude. And me saying ‘people are tired’ is putting it mildly.

What do you think will happen now? Will the Senate leaders follow McConnell’s instruction and go negative against Trump if he were to win the nomination?

Would this further split a fractured party? Share your comments below and let us know what you think.
