The parents of Kareem Nikoui, a Marine killed in a suicide bombing outside Kabul airport in Afghanistan in August, demanded General Mark Milley resign for his role in the botched withdrawal effort.

Steve Nikoui, Kareem’s father, accused the Biden administration of failing to hold anybody accountable for the attack which succeeded in large part due to an incompetent withdrawal plan.

“I’d like to see General Milley resign,” Mr. Nikoui said in a Fox News interview. “He should be held responsible for this. He’s the Joint Chiefs of Staff [chairman].”

Kareem’s mother, Shana Chappell, agreed that there has been no accountability thus far.

“I’m still waiting for them to be held accountable for it. For some reason, they want to put the blame on everyone but themselves, but it is actually their fault all of this happened,” she accused. “The 13 that are dead, that is their fault.”

Gold Star Parents: General Mark Milley Should Resign

The Afghanistan withdrawal led to a suicide bombing killing 13 service members, a retaliatory drone strike by the United States that killed 10 civilians – including an aid worker and 7 children – and countless Americans being left behind in the Taliban-controlled country.

Nikoui and Chappell have been consistent critics of the handling of the events in Afghanistan by President Biden and the Department of Defense, understandably so.

The mother of the fallen Marine previously claimed the President rolled his eyes at a meeting in which she remembered her son.

Chappell claimed, as Biden has done on several occasions, that the President suggested he understood their pain because of his own son’s death.

Beau Biden passed away from brain cancer in 2015 at the age of 46. He had served in Iraq with the U.S. Army.

“You tried to interrupt me and give me your own sob story and I had to tell you, ‘This isn’t about you so don’t make it about you!’” Chappell wrote on social media.

“You then said you just wanted me to know that you know how I feel and I let you know that you don’t know how I feel and you do not have the right to tell me you know how I feel!” she exclaimed.

“You then rolled your f***ing eyes in your head like you were annoyed with me and I let you know that the only reason I was talking to you was out of respect for my son.”

President Biden was heavily criticized after being caught checking his watch several times during a dignified transfer of military remains for the 13 fallen service members killed in Afghanistan.

Biden Looked At His Watch During Service For Fallen Service Members

Nikoui’s father blasted the President almost immediately after the terrorist attack in August.

“They sent my son over there as a paper pusher and then had the Taliban outside providing security,” Nikoui told the Daily Beast. “I blame my own military leaders … Biden turned his back on him. That’s it.”

Now, he finally wants to see action taken against those who failed his son and the other service members who were killed in the attack.

“They let the Taliban dictate the evacuation,” Mr. Nikoui said. “I don’t feel any of them have been held accountable. And the president, he hasn’t taken any accountability on it either.”

Former President Donald Trump slammed Milley over the United States military withdrawal during an event at Mar-a-Lago calling the Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman a “f***ing idiot.”

General Mark Milley faced calls to resign in September when it was revealed he had grown so concerned about Trump’s mental state that he secretly called China to tell them he’d give them a heads up if America was planning to attack.

“If we’re going to attack, I’m going to call you ahead of time,” Milley purportedly told General Li Zuocheng of the People’s Liberation Army of China.

General Milley privately blamed the State Department for being responsible for the botched evacuation in Afghanistan.
