Former President Donald Trump slammed General Mark Milley over the United States military withdrawal from Afghanistan calling the Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman a “f***ing idiot.”
The remarks came at an event at Mar-a-Lago over the weekend.
Trump spoke to a crowd about military planes and equipment left behind for the Taliban to claim after the disastrous withdrawal over the summer.
The former President claimed Milley told him it would be cheaper to leave the planes behind rather than transport them elsewhere.
“That’s when I realized he was a f***ing idiot,” Trump said of Milley.
Trump had apparently suggested fueling up the planes and moving them either to Pakistan or back to America.

Trump Says Milley is an Idiot
What would cause Trump to lash out at General Milley as a “f***ing idiot”?
There’s a lot of material to choose from.
For instance, Milley was so concerned about “white rage” in Trump supporters at the Capitol riot earlier this year, that he seemingly took his eye off the ball in Afghanistan.
The Afghanistan withdrawal led to a suicide bombing killing 13 service members, a retaliatory drone strike by the United States that killed 10 civilians – including an aid worker and 7 children – and countless Americans being left behind in the Taliban-controlled country.
This past September, it was also revealed that Milley grew so concerned about President Donald Trump’s mental state that he secretly called China to tell them he’d give them a heads up if America was planning to attack.
“If we’re going to attack, I’m going to call you ahead of time,” Milley purportedly told General Li Zuocheng of the People’s Liberation Army of China.

The Taliban Holds a Parade With US Equipment
Fox News host Tucker Carlson seems to be aligned with Trump’s view of Milley, once stating he’s “not just a pig, he’s stupid.”
Carlson added that the General got his position as the highest-ranking and most senior military officer in the United States because “he knows who to suck up to and he’s more than happy to do it.”
Tucker Carlson destroys Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Mark Milley for pushing critical race theory.

Last month, The Political Insider reported on a military parade held by the Taliban featuring US military equipment abandoned during the Biden administration’s withdrawal from Afghanistan.
Reuters describes the show of military weapons as evidence that the Taliban is undergoing a “transformation from an insurgent force to a regular standing army.”
They have “used the large stock of weapons and equipment left behind when the former Western-backed government collapsed in August to overhaul their forces,” the outlet notes.

Pentagon Spokesman John Kirby, in an interview with CNN in late August, described equipment being inspected by Taliban fighters at a hangar at the Kabul Airport in Afghanistan as having been “demilitarized” and thus “unusable.”
Reuters though described the parade as having “dozens of U.S.-made M117 armored security vehicles,” “[Russian] MI-17 helicopters patrolling overhead,” and many soldiers carrying “American made-M4 assault rifles.”

President Trump offered up a plan to deal with any military equipment left behind in Afghanistan.
He released a statement saying the United States should demand every piece be returned by the Taliban – and, if they don’t, “bomb the hell out of” them in Afghanistan.
