When in doubt, play the race card.
That’s how Democrats play politics. Anytime they’re caught in a bind, they whip out the epithet “racist” and sling it at their opponent. The media, like dutiful servants, then repeats the line, giddily referring to the target as a no-good racist who needs deported to an isolated island for progressive re-education.
That playbook may have just run out of pages, however. Frederica Wilson, the Democrat representative from Florida who blabbed about listening in on a phone call President Trump made to Gold Star widow Myeshia Johnson, just took the whole “Republicans are racist” thing too far.
After White House Chief of Staff John Kelly put Wilson on blast yesterday during an emotional press conference for politicizing Trump’s personal call with Johnson, the cowboy hat-wearing congresswoman went on a tear, ripping into the four-star general.
Wilson went on CNN to spew her ungrammatical bile. “You know, I feel sorry for Gen. Kelly. He has the sympathy for the loss of his son. But he can’t just go on TV and lie on me,” she told CNN hosts Chris Cuomo and Alisyn Camerota.
What the hell does that even mean? “Lie on me?” This woman was a school principal for Pete’s sake! What kind of stupid slang is that?
But it gets worse. During his remarks yesterday, Kelly referred to Wilson as an “empty barrel.”
So what does an “empty barrel” like Rep. Wilson say in return? She calls it a “racist term.” Seriously.

Rep. Wilson is a loon devoid of empathy and propriety. Who the hell is she to call out John Kelly, a man whose son died defending our country in Afghanistan, as racist? Kelly has done more for this nation in the past three months than Wilson has done in her entire lifetime.
Attacking a man who lost his son in combat, invoking the tired insult “racist,” bragging about boosting your profile on the back of a grieving widow – all this and more proves Wilson is unfit for office. She’s a self-obsessed partisan. The voters in her district should be ashamed to have her as their representative in Congress.
