Decisions, decisions.

One Democrat voter was interviewed at a Staten Island diner and explained why members of his party are tasked with making an impossible decision for President.

“Your only two choices are a socialist and a corrupt criminal,” he explained, adding that Hillary Clinton’s email scandal has been “ridiculous.”

The registered Democrat said he’s leaning heavily toward voting for Republican frontrunner Donald Trump because his own party has simply moved too far left and no longer represents his values.

Check out the segment on Fox News, which also features a Trump supporter who says in contrast to Hillary, “he’s not a thief, a liar or a cheat.”

First, she spoke with Tammy, a retired phone company worker, and Anthony, a retired city worker.

Anthony said he’s a registered Democrat, but explained that he made that choice 30 years ago and doesn’t feel that the party represents him anymore.

“They’ve moved so far left. It’s not the way it was. … It shows you the sad state of the Democratic Party when your only two choices are a socialist and a corrupt criminal basically,” he said, calling the Clinton email scandal “ridiculous.”

He said he’s leaning toward voting for Donald Trump. Another woman, a retired education worker, said she’s “definitely” voting for Trump.

“He’s an honest, hard working businessman who understands the daily struggles of the American people. He’s smart. He’s not a thief, a liar or a cheat. … He would be a fantastic president,” Mary Lou said.

If Anthony is a microcosm of Democrat voters, that would help explain why their party’s voter turnout has been drastically down this election cycle. Voting for a socialist or a criminal, or a socialist criminal, or a criminal socialist … It’s no easy task.

Regardless, if the low voter turnout trend continues, and Democrats feel disenchanted by their two poor choices for President, it could spell doom.

Our colleague SooperMexican explains that “If the GOP can sustain these turnout numbers, then there’s no way a Democrat will win the general election, despite who the GOP candidate is.”

Here’s a report on large voter turnout numbers for Republicans in Georgia …
