Liberal Journalist Erik Abriss Fired After Wishing Death on Covington Teens and Their Families

A freelance writer for Vulture was fired from his full-time job after wishing death on the Covington Catholic High School students in the wake of the controversy over an interaction with a Native-American activist.

Erik Abriss, a post-production supervisor at INE Entertainment, was reportedly fired after his negative tweets about the teenagers and their families went viral.

“I don’t know what it says about me but I’ve truly lost the ability to articulate the hysterical rage, nausea, and heartache this makes me feel. I just want these people to die. Simple as that. Every single one of them. And their parents,” tweeted Abriss.

What was he thinking? What makes someone so ugly and hateful?

But there was more. “Racism is in its Boomer death throes. It will die out with this younger generation!’ Look at the s—-eating grins on all those young white slugs’ faces. Just perverse pleasure at wielding a false dominion they’ve been taught their whole life was their divine right. F—ing die,” Abriss added.

INE Entertainment told the Wrap on Monday that Abriss was fired because of his offensive social media comments. The tweets have since been deleted and his Abriss’s account is locked.

Reading some of his other tweets, even, it’s not hard to see why.

“We were surprised and upset to see the inflammatory and offensive rhetoric used on Erik Abriss’ Twitter account this weekend,” the company told the Wrap. “He worked with the company in our post-production department and never as a writer.”

“While we appreciated his work, it is clear that he is no longer aligned with our company’s core values of respect and tolerance. Therefore, as of January 21, 2019, we have severed ties with Abriss,” the INE Entertainment statement said of their former employee.

Obviously this company had to protect their reputation and employing someone who publicly spreads such hateful and violent ideas is not a good look for any business.

It’s also not a good look for Mr. Abriss. What kind of person wishes for the deaths of teenagers – and their families?

Someone appears to need some serious mental help in this situation and it’s not the Covington Catholic high school teenagers.
