Fox News Host Eric Bolling Suspended Over Sexual Harassment Claims

Is Fox News imploding?

In just the past year or so we’ve seen the departure of Megyn Kelly, Greta Van Susteren, Bob Beckel, Bill O’Reilly, a suspension of Charles Payne, the departure and death of Roger Ailes, and even a cancellation of the popular late-night show “Red Eye.”

In what’s being described as a witch hunt, whoever is pulling the strings at Fox has set their eyes on their latest target: Eric Bolling. He’s been suspended due to accusations that he sent lewd photos to multiple female colleagues in the past, but we don’t know who any of those alleged victims even are. The dates of the allegedly offending messages were over a decade ago. Bolling’s attorney, Michael J. Bowe, told NPR that “The anonymous, uncorroborated claims are untrue and terribly unfair. We intend to fully cooperate with the investigation so that it can be concluded and Eric can return to work as quickly as possible.”

And one of his public accusers has more than a few red flags…

Suspended Fox News host Eric Bolling’s first public accuser is a major left-wing activist who held a protest sign at President Trump’s inauguration accusing the president of being a rapist.

Heldman, an Occidental College professor who appeared on Fox News, reportedly “filed a sexual harassment complaint just hours before Fox News announced O’Reilly’s departure,” according to People magazine.

Now, she is back to accuse Eric Bolling, a major Trump supporter at the network. Here is Philly.com’s report:

Hours after Fox News announced it was suspending Bolling, Caroline Heldman, a politics professor at Occidental College and frequent guest on the network from 2008 to 2011, claimed the Fox News host made an unspecified number of unsolicited sexual advances to her.

“[Bolling] said he wanted to fly me out to New York for in-studio hits and to have ‘fun.’ He asked me to have meals with him on several occasions, but I found excuses not to go,” Heldman wrote in a lengthy Facebook post. “Once, he took me up to his office in New York, showed me his baseball jerseys, and in the brief time I was there, let me know that his office was his favorite place to have sex.”

Fox News just suspended Eric Bolling pending allegations that he sent photos…

Posted by Caroline Heldman on Saturday, August 5, 2017

I’m a bit skeptical for more than just one reason.

For one, why did she wait nearly a decade to report the alleged harassment from the man? Could it be a politically-motivated “take down”? While Fox is still investigating the claims, Heldman makes no effort to hide her role as a far-left activist.
