After Being Fired From Fox, Bill O’Reilly Says ‘Truth Will Come Out’

It’s been a rough couple of weeks for Fox News and its former top-rated host Bill O’Reilly. The trouble for the cable news network began after the liberal New York Times revealed that Fox News’ parent company, 21st Century Fox, paid 5 women approximately $13 million to settle sexual harassment allegations made against O’Reilly.

While O’Reilly’s ratings remained strong, advertisers fled the show, forcing Fox News to separate from their long-time host and replace him with Tucker Carlson. Since then, another Fox News host, Sean Hannity, has been the target of sexual harassment allegations, however the woman has since recanted her allegations against him, and has a history of slandering Hannity.

Since he was removed from Fox News last week, O’Reilly has remained fairly silent, however, he returned to his “No Spin Podcast” on his website Monday to address the controversy.

Speaking to his audience, O’Reilly said that he was “sad I’m not on television anymore” but then made a huge claim about what’s to come:

Here are O’Reilly’s full comments:

I am sad that I’m not on television anymore. I was very surprised how it all turned out. I can’t say a lot, because there’s much stuff going on right now.

But I can tell you that I’m very confident the truth will come out, and when it does, I don’t know if you’re going to be surprised – but I think you’re going to be shaken, as I am. There’s a lot of stuff involved here.

Now, I can’t say anymore because I just don’t want to influence the flow of the information. I don’t want the media to take what I say and misconstrue it. However, you, as a loyal O’Reilly listener, have a right to know, I think, down the lane, what exactly happened. And we are working in that direction, okay?

After initially separating from Fox, O’Reilly released a statement on April 19 saying in part, “It is tremendously disheartening that we part ways due to completely unfounded claims. But that is the unfortunate reality many of us in the public eye must live with today.”

It is unknown what steps, if any, O’Reilly will take to fight back. It’s no secret that the left was out to get O’Reilly, and documents obtained by TheBlaze reveal that the liberal website Media Matters was behind the advertiser exodus from the Fox News show.

If the allegations made against O’Reilly are false, he has every right to seek justice against those looking to destroy his highly successful career.

How should O’Reilly respond now that he is no longer at Fox? Should he sue the cable network or go after other organizations for pushing for his removal from television? Share your thoughts below!
