Don’t Worry, We Won’t Forget That NY Leaders Dismissed COVID-19 Before Blaming Trump Of Results

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill De Blasio are only the latest symptoms of the problem.

Before I get into the article, let’s not forget that both Cuomo and De Blasio dismissed COVID-19 at the beginning. They were still pushing New Yorkers to attend the St. Patrick’s Day parade until things got really bad.

Over the past month or so, Americans witnessed daily briefings in which New York State’s governor, Andrew Cuomo, made repeated demands of President Donald Trump, while exploiting his moment in the sun claiming he was the show in town and all cameras should be on his State.

NEW YORK LEADERS WON’T SHOW GRATITUDE

He said he wasn’t going to get in a political fight with the President, but he did at various times, and for that, Cuomo should go to Pres. Trump and to those Americans across the country who specifically helped NYC during her time of need. It is not Pres. Trump who fell short in doing his job: that label fell on Cuomo his side-kick Bill de Blasio, mayor of New York City.

FIRST RESPONDERS SALUTE OTHER OUT OF TOWN NURSES

I was doing a bit of research. The State of New York has some 323,126 Registered Nurses (RN) as of last year. Had New York really required one million vents, they would have been doomed. One RN typically takes two vents, three if they are stable. If you consider 3:1 staffing for RN’s and vent patients, the State would not have enough RN’s to cover two or three shifts of nurses to cover the vent patients. That is not even considering Emergency Rooms, medical-surgical units, nursing management, Surgery, nursing homes, etc.

I’ve yet to hear a word of gratitude for the many nurses nationwide who came to New York to assist with their “emergency.” I did, however, see a video of the NY Police giving them applause as they were leaving the hospital. Had it been a real nationwide emergency, those nurses would have been needed elsewhere and unable to help hizzoner out.

Apparently, the state “officials” are unable to understand they are unable to take care of themselves alone in such a crisis. Face it, humility is not a characteristic of New Yorkers, and they get that profile from their leaders.

In this video, you’ll see New York’s finest saluting out-of-state nurses but no De Blasio or Cuomo.

TRUMP TRIED TO HELP NY, AND THEY STILL COMPLAINED

Personally, I think the greatest hate directed towards the election of President Trump by Democrat Mayors and Governors is due to the financial shenanigans used to hide their mismanagement of their cities and the State’s finances.

Many were teetering on the brink of bankruptcy and expected bailouts from a Hillary Clinton presidency to cover pension liabilities, wasteful spending, and their budget managing inadequacies.

They are now trying to use the Wuhan virus to extort monies from American taxpayers to cover the costs of all the campaign promises they exchanged for votes.

SHOULD WE FEEL BAD FOR THE PEOPLE OF NEW YORK?

Urban New Yorkers voted these fellows in, as well as a democratically entrenched legislature. They deserve what they are getting. Be it, insufficient preparation by the city and State for a real emergency, or this new concept of releasing prisoners at the proverbial drop of a hat. It appears that the urban elite of New York cannot self reflect or understand previous mistakes.

I have zero sympathies for the citizenry of New York City. Their arrogance and condescension towards anyone who does not share their mental mindset have turned off most of conservative America. As I noted, Cuomo and De Blasio are just the latest symptoms, and they are so out of touch with anyone outside of their bubbles, that they are unaware of how their little temper tantrum comes across.

DON’T HOLD YOUR BREATH

Never in a hundred years. To show gratitude or even a mild apology is to show weakness to their base and fellow travelers, also if they all benefit from the President’s aid and intervention. Their hatred directed to the President, in large part, is their hatred for half the nation.
