In an interview with Lara Trump, former President Donald Trump told supporters there is "hope" of him making another run for the White House in 2024.

In an interview with Lara Trump, former President Donald Trump told supporters there is “hope” of him making another run for the White House in 2024.

Lara Trump, the former president’s daughter-in-law, asked him if supporters should have hope for another run.

“You do have hope, that I can tell you, you do have hope,” Trump said in his first on-camera interview since departing the White House. “We love our country, this country, we all owe a lot to our country, but now we have to help our country.”

Ms. Trump then asked: “Will we ever be able to attend another Trump rally?”

“Oh yeah, sure, I think so,” he replied. “In fact, we’re thinking about doing one relatively soon just to let everybody know that there’s hope in the future.”

Trump To Run Again In 2024?

If this interview is any indicator, Donald Trump will most certainly be using the border crisis as a platform should he run in 2024, or even to help conservative candidates running in 2022.

It was a successful tactic in 2016, and the policies of the Biden administration, which many argue have led to a surge of migrants at the border, has put the topic of illegal immigration back in the spotlight.

“Look at our borders, look what’s happening,” Trump said. “We had the best southern border that we’ve ever had and in one day he said, ‘Everybody come up,’ and what’s going on now is something compared to what’s going to take place during the summer.”

President Biden signaled a change in border policy, vowing to reverse Trump’s hardline stance on legal crossings and prompting migrants to claim the new administration had signaled that it’s fine to attempt to enter, with some even arriving in Biden “let us in” t-shirts.

The President has since implored migrants, “Don’t come.”

Facebook Allegedly Removed Video Of Trump’s Interview

Another topic Trump tackled during the interview was censorship by social media companies.

“He railed against ‘cancel culture’ and the woke mob’s ‘obliteration’ of US culture, particularly on social media,” the Daily Mail reports.

According to Lara Trump, Facebook sent an email indicating the Trump interview was blocked on their platform for the sole crime that it “featured President Trump speaking” and the “voice of Donald Trump.”

Corey Lewandowski, a one-time campaign manager and senior adviser to Trump, has indicated the former President will be starting his own social media platform.

Lara Trump asked the former President about starting his own platform.

“So, I think there’s room for something and I bring a lot of people with me, so we’ll see,” he replied.

Trump noted that he’s excited about the prospect of holding a rally in the near future – to promote a 2024 run or simply share his message.

“I love doing them. But more importantly, I think we get the word out,” he said.
