Donald Trump Jr. Shared Mocking Video Of His Father Knocking Biden Down With Golf Balls

Donald Trump Jr. shared a video of a meme on social media that mocked President Joe Biden’s three stumbles while walking up the steps of Air Force One on Friday.

The edited video showed Don Jr.’s father, former President Donald Trump, swinging a golf club. The golf ball the ex-president hit is then shown flying into the greenery and coming back in another frame, where the it strikes Biden in the head as he stumbles up the stairs to Air Force One.

Of course, former President Trump did not actually hit Biden with a golf ball, and the footage was just edited together to make it look that way.

This is what Don Jr. mockingly said knocked Biden down when the president had trouble walking up the stairs to Air Force One on Friday.

Trump Jr. wrote on Twitter, “It wasn’t the wind folks.”

Biden’s Stair Troubles

On Friday, Biden slipped twice as he climbed up the steps of Air Force One and on a third time, the president fell down.

When he finally reached the plane, Biden stopped and waved.

Of course, this prompted reporters to ask about 78-year-old Biden’s health, particularly given the president’s history of foot injuries.

White House staff members said that Biden was not harmed and is doing fine.

White House Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters, “It’s pretty windy outside. It’s very windy. I almost fell coming up the steps myself. He is doing 100% fine.”

Backlash Against Don Jr. For His Tweet

Don Jr.’s tweets were met with criticism, particularly from celebrities and journalists.

“Covfefe yourself,” replied actress Patricia Arquette to Don Jr.’s tweet.

“So strange that a president and family that casually embraced dumb, violent memes for four years wound up inciting a deadly attack on the Capitol,” wrote a White House correspondent for HuffPost.

 

Another Twitter user wrote, “Does every member of the trump family have the intellect of an angry kindergartener?” 

According to The Hill, Don Jr’s tweet did not violate Twitter policies.

Biden is the oldest president in U.S. history.

After getting backlash on Twitter for his original tweet, Don Jr. came back with a response.

“I remember the press bashing Trump for touching the rail once,” Don Jr. wrote.
“Biden falls repeatedly but I’m sure he’s the picture of health.”

“No wonder all our enemies are pouncing simultaneously and mocking him publicly,” he finished.

Many would say that Don Jr. makes a good point.
