Democrat Congressman Demands Investigation, Prosecution Of President Trump

On Tuesday, Democratic Congressman Bill Pascrell, Jr. demanded a thorough investigation and prosecution of members of President Donald Trump and members of his administration.

“Donald Trump and members of his administration have committed innumerable crimes against the United States,” said New Jersey Rep. Pascrell in a statement.

Democrat Pascrell Doesn’t Mention Any Actual Crimes

There are a lot of words in Rep. Pascrell’s press release, but no actual crimes or evidence of crimes mentioned.

“He has endangered our national security,” he continued. “He ripped families apart. He poisoned the Census. He has personally profited from his office.”

Pascrell accused Trump of undermining the election.

Trump “has attacked our elections and sought to throttle democracy,” Pascrell insisted.

“He was rightly impeached by the House of Representatives,” the congressman said. “He has engaged in treachery, in treason.”

So Pascrell was just making things up at this point. This did not stop him from continuing.

Pascrell said Trump “has all but given up on governing and protecting our nation and if he had a shred of dignity he would resign today.”

The liberal congressman then made his grand declaration.

“Therefore, in 2021 the entire Trump administration must be fully investigated by the Department of Justice and any other relevant offices,” he said.

“Donald Trump along with his worst enablers must be tried for their crimes against our nation and Constitution,” he added.

“Importantly, any further abuse of the sacred pardon power to shield criminals would itself be obstruction of justice, and any self-pardons would be illegal,” he said.

At least one other elected Congressman, far-left Steve Cohen, agreed with Pascrell. 

Cohen has made recent declarations about his desire to impeach Attorney General Bill Barr and abolish the Electoral College. 

Pascrell’s Screed Is Pathetic And Sad

The response from regular Americans was particularly brutal. Here’s just a sampling:

One can only wonder what Pascrell – who has been in Congress since 1997 – was doing during the Obama regime. 

Did he ever have anything to say about Fast and Furious gun running scandal to Mexican drug cartels? 

When Obama killed American citizens with Hellfire missiles, without charge or trial, including a 17 year old boy?

When Obama started wars in Libya and Syria?

When the IRS was used to target Tea Party conservatives?

When Obama spied on journalists?

The list goes on and on.

As for President Trump? Pascrell couldn’t name one thing.

But that hasn’t stopped real, sitting members of the House of Representatives from demanding prosecution. 

The very notion is dark and dangerous. Individuals in positions of such power cannot be allowed to abuse power in this way.

We are going to see much, much more of this – especially if Joe Biden wins the presidency.
