After suffering countless delays, Brett Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford is set to testify this Thursday. Ford and her legal team did literally everything they could to delay her testimony as long as possible, including demanding an FBI investigation (after the FBI already said they wouldn’t investigate), and claiming that she can’t come to D.C. to testify because she’s afraid of flying (but used to work in Hawaii).
Another accuser that came forward, Deborah Ramirez, is refusing to testify. A common theme with the Kavanaugh accusers is that all the witnesses they’ve identified have refuted their accounts. Given that those witnesses were submitting their answers under penalty of perjury, it means the only people positively identifying Kavanaugh as an abuser are the ones who won’t say so under oath. While Ford is set to testify tomorrow, I have my doubts it’ll actually happen.
Ramirez’s story is particularly shaky, with the New Yorker article publishing her claims admitting that “there are significant gaps in her memories of the evening.” Also, when she was first contacted by The New Yorker, “she was reluctant to characterize Kavanaugh’s role in the alleged incident with certainty.” It took Ramirez six days of ruminating on the incident to determine that it was Kavanaugh who exposed himself to her, despite claiming she wasn’t sure prior to. Funny how far a little coaxing from the media goes.
The New Yorker admitted in their own article that they didn’t confirm with “other eyewitnesses that Kavanaugh was present at the party” he allegedly accosted her at.
And even worse for Ramirez’s narrative, her own best friend says that she never heard of any incident involving Kavanaugh…. and says the allegations are political. And that’s her best friend saying that!

And that’s not the half of it. According to the Wall Street Journal’s Kimberly Strassel, Ramirez, like Ford, is doing everything she can to not come forward with her story, but to delay Kavanaugh’s confirmation indefinitely. After giving The New Yorker an allegation even they acknowledge is unsubstantiated, Ramirez seems to have no further interest in speaking.

Only 25% of women and 28% of men find Ford’s allegations credible, and that’s according to a post from the left-wing Huffington Post.
How many of you find Ramirez’s credible? I certainly don’t.
