Known traitor Chelsea Manning is running for federal office.
In case you’ve forgotten, Manning was charged with violating the Espionage Act in 2010 and was sentenced to 35 years in prison in 2013. However, Barack Obama commuted her sentence three days before he left office, and Manning was released in May 2015. Over the weekend, Manning announced that she’s following up her track record for dishonesty by running for Senate in the deep-blue state of Maryland.
This isn’t a joke. She’s actually running for Senate, and she released her first campaign ad on Monday – Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
But despite how serious Manning might be about running for Senate, no one is taking her candidacy seriously. And why should they? Liberals might be fine with supporting candidates who are suspected felons, but isn’t supporting a convicted felon a bridge too far?

There’s not much more to say than that. Manning is a convicted traitor of the United States of America – Canada has even banned her from their country. If Maryland votes her into office, they deserve her.
