WHOA: Does This Endorsement Mean Ted Cruz Is Now The Establishment?

Ted Cruz

A U.S. Senator castigates a man one minute and supports him the next. That makes him an opportunist, and he is far from alone. This is what the people deplore about our politics and the men who make it up.

Ted Cruz

From Post and Courier:

U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham told Meet The Press’ Chuck Todd on Sunday that Texas Sen. Ted Cruz may be the only realistic option for Republicans who want to stop Donald Trump’s march to the GOP nomination for president.

“At the end of the day, I know what I’m getting with Ted Cruz,” Graham said. “If Ted is the alternative to Trump, at least he’s a conservative Republican.”

Cruz and Trump each won two states on Saturday, though Cruz picked up more delegates, 70-61, than the New York billionaire businessman. Cruz called on supporters of Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio to back him in order to stop Trump.

Graham said Sunday that the party cannot win in November with Trump, citing the GOP’s “demographic death spiral.”

“Donald Trump has taken every problem we’ve had with Hispanics and young women and made them worse,” Graham said. “That cannot be Republican conservatism.”

Sen. Lindsey Graham wants a purple-stamped government. He is the face of the GOP Establishment that people are turning out to vote against. He should be hidden in a pool hall till after the election, not paraded out by the GOP to make their case even worse.

What do you think about Graham now switching is support to Cruz? Doesn’t this reek of Establishment plotting and shenanigans? Cruz continues to say he’s not part of DC, but he’s the first they would back if it came down to destroying Trump’s campaign.
