New undercover video shows multiple staffers for the nation’s top anti-gun lawmakers getting rather uncomfortable when they’re asked to put a ‘Gun Free Zone’ sign on their bosses homes.
The video, courtesy of James O’Keefe and Project Veritas, shows an undercover journalist trying to convince administration employees to place a sign which reads ‘Citizens Against Senseless Violence: This home is proudly gun free!’

Several staffers, working for various anti-Second Amendment lawmakers, should have jumped at the chance to proudly proclaim their gun free status. Instead, the sign gave them moments of pause.
Erik Sperling, a legislative assistant to congressman John Conyers Jr., said that the idea of using a ‘gun free’ sign on his boss’s property “makes me almost nervous.”
Why though? Isn’t it the guns that make you nervous and not the criminals?

The undercover journalists even approached Democrat Rep. Charlie Rangel.
Via the Daily Caller:
The journalists even confronted Democratic New York Rep. Charles Rangel, one of the staunchest anti-gun members in the House, outside of his home.
“This is my home, I have a guest,” he told the Project Veritas reporters. “I need a little privacy, and I’m 100 percent on board with the issue.
“Why don’t you go where people need a little bit of pushing?” he posed defensively. “I don’t need any encouragement, any support and you can put it down that you talked to me and you’re home free. But if you push it, then you make me unpleasant.”
“We just want to give you this sign to show,” the PV journalists try one last time. “Would you at least take it?”
Rangel declined.
Rangel of course, would theoretically be against the ‘gun free’ sign anyhow, as he is a big fan of armed protection against criminals.
Last month during an interview, the congressman said that “Law-abiding citizens just shouldn’t have to carry a gun” for protection.

After the interviewer pointed out that Rangel was mere feet away from an armed capitol security officer, Rangel provided the ultimate hypocritical response.
“Well that’s a little different,” he laughed. “I think we deserve–I think we need to be protected down here.”
