Colorado has joined 11 other states captured by Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election to pass a legislative measure to award the winner of the popular vote count with their Electoral College votes.
Democrat Gov. Jared Polis signed the measure on Friday, though it will only take effect if enough states – those representing at least 270 of the electoral votes, the amount needed to win a presidential election – sign onto the same law.
With Colorado’s inclusion, the law has been passed in states representing 181 of the votes.
The move marks yet another in a frightening display which has seen states still raging about Clinton’s defeat, attempt to abolish the Constitutional system that prevents those with massive populations – such as the liberal cesspools of New York and California – from deciding who leads the rest of the country.
This should not be dismissed as anything less than an attempt to destroy our electoral process, simply because the left is, to this day, incapable of accepting the words ‘President Donald J. Trump.’

Why They’re Doing This
Abolishing the Electoral College is a position taken by extremists who dare to claim the wisdom behind their efforts far exceeds that of the Founding Fathers.
This effort stems from two things – bitterness and ignorance. It generates almost exclusively from the left’s unwillingness to accept the results of the 2016 election, as well as the inability to understand that the Electoral College was put in place to prevent large pockets of the population from deciding elections for the entire country.
Reed Hundt, co-founder of Making Every Vote Count, told the Washington Post that abolishing the Electoral College is necessary because “the electoral system of the 18th century doesn’t work anymore.”
“No one at the time the Constitution was written thought that 80 percent of the population would be irrelevant,” he said.
Other Liberal Extremists Support
House Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) introduced a pair of constitutional amendments on his party’s first day in power after the 2018 midterm elections, one of which would abolish the Electoral College.
Radicals such as the anti-American socialist from New York have also expressed support, even portraying the Electoral College as designed to support slavery.

The stunning ignorance one must possess to make such a historically inaccurate statement is, well, quite like Ocasio-Cortez, anti-Democracy.
“It would not only be anti-democratic … but could actually lead to the dissolution of our nation,” Investors Business Daily writes. “And those who propose this idea betray a shocking lack of historical and civics knowledge and appreciation for how our nation works.”
Perhaps Democrats should forget about changing the rules in response to their election losses and focus on their performance instead. Otherwise, they’re going to be in for another shock in 2020.
