College Says ‘MAGA’ Equals ‘White Supremacy’

According to a report by Campus Reform, San Diego City College recently held an event that was supposed to examine “white supremacy,” where some deemed “Make America Great Again” an example of “covert white supremacy.”

The White Supremacy ‘Pyramid’

The event was called “Confronting White Supremacy through the Arts” and it featured a white supremacy “pyramid,” which separated “overt white supremacy” from “covert white supremacy,” pushing the idea that the difference between “KKK” and “Make America Great Again” is that one is “overt” racism, and the other is “covert.”

“Overt white supremacy” included not just the KKK, but also “lynching,” “the N-word,” “swastikas,” “hate crimes,” and “Neo-Nazis,” to name a few.

Here is a list of “covert white supremacy” on the pyramid:

  • Racist mascots
  • Bootstrap theory
  • Assuming that good intentions are enough
  • “But we’re just one human family”
  • Colorblindness
  • Cultural appropriation
  • “Make America Great Again”
  • Self-appointed white ally
  • Celebration of Columbus Day

A brochure promoting the event read, “Come join us in confronting White Supremacy through students’ performances.”

“Prior to the performances, guest speakers will set the stage and contextualize what white supremacy is, its areas of activity, and how rampant it is in our society, curriculum, mindsets, and media,” it continued.

The ‘White Supremacy Wheel’

According to Campus Reform, the school also featured a vague and peculiar “white supremacy wheel,” which supposedly broke down the origins of white supremacy worldwide. The wheel was called the “Global System of White Supremacy” and it showed economics, education, entertainment, labor, law, politics, religion, sex, and war as examples of global “white supremacy.”

‘I had my MAGA hat on campus and had to hide it’

San Diego City College student Daimeon Rodriguez said that he attended part of the event, where he allegedly saw students rapping, reciting poems, and singing. He also said some speakers’ words were “directed towards the current administration” and its supporters.

“I had my MAGA hat on campus and had to hide it in worry of being threatened or targeted with speech or allegations again by another student,” Rodriguez said. “Some of the [performance] topics included some of the misinformation about people like me [Trump supporters].”

Is anyone surprised this kind of nonsense is happening on America’s college campuses anymore?

The most surprising thing is how many dollars parents continue to shell out to subject their kids to this politically correct circus.
