CNN Panelist To Trump Voters: Now Your Loved Ones Can Die

David Zurawik, a media critic for the Baltimore Sun, appeared on CNN’s Reliable Sources program and told Trump voters “now your loved ones can die.”
Zurawik made the comments on Easter Sunday, seemingly distraught over the President providing information to the American people through his coronavirus press conferences.
“Health workers are risking their lives daily. And to see him come out there and for 90 minutes, and two hours, sometimes, doing exactly what you said — he’s spinning a narrative,” the reporter said, spinning his own lies.
Your Family Can Die
Zurawik continued foaming at the mouth over Trump’s press conferences, calling the information provided an “outrageous lie.”
“People are dying because of his foolishness,” the CNN contributor falsely claimed. “It’s really foolishness at this point.”
Important to remember this is on a show CNN calls Reliable Sources.
That’s when Zurawik absolutely lost his mind:
“You know, America — you know, folks who loved him, fine. You voted for him. You stuck it to the elites for three years. But now your loved ones can die. The game’s over. This isn’t reality TV anymore. People are dying and this guy is acting a fool.”

Full Rubin
Zurawik’s comments were reminiscent of those made by the Washington Post’s fake ‘conservative‘ columnist, Jennifer Rubin, who claimed the coronavirus would kill more Republicans than Democrats.
“There is a particular cruelty – irony – that it is their core viewers, the Republican older viewers, who are the most at risk,” Rubin claimed. “I hate to put it this way, but there will be less Democrat deaths because there will be less mass gatherings …”
Imagine knowing somebody out there said something that ridiculously false and then you go out there and amplify it as Zurawik has.
Nobody goes full Rubin, David.
Why He Said It
Zurawik, believe it or not, has a method to his madness.
Last summer he appeared on CNN and described President Trump as “a sick person” who is “so far down this road of evil” that he can’t change his allegedly racist behavior.
Now he wants to convince you that the President is killing people.
Why? As he said later in that same segment from July, the only way the media can prove it isn’t biased against the President is to “change voters’ minds for 2020.”
That’s exactly what Zurawik is doing – trying to force a change of mind in Republican voters by making outrageous claims contrary to reality.

America Supports Trump’s Press Conferences
Here’s the funny part – Zurawik is upset about Trump’s press conferences and wants him taken off the air.
“Televised daily briefings,” he tweeted. “TV can morally no longer be party to Trump’s reckless and dangerous behavior at the podium as thousands die.”
First the Fake News Media said that it’s not fair for the President of the United States to be giving news conferences, but it is the only way I can reach the American People, as seen in the below poll. pic.twitter.com/xP2rqjqtaf

A recent poll shared by the President himself shows that more than three-quarters of Americans find his briefings ‘helpful and informative,’ including 62 percent of Democrats.
Turns out the President’s conferences are saving lives. And that makes him a far more ‘Reliable Source’ than anything CNN has to offer.
