CNN Host Praises Trump On Coronavirus: ‘Kind Of Leader That People Need’

CNN anchor Dana Bash praised Donald Trump on Tuesday for how the president is dealing with the coronavirus outbreak, even going so far as to say that he’s the “kind of leader that people need” during this crisis.

Bash applauded Trump’s “tone” recently and said he’s doing well on both an “American” and “human” level.

‘This was remarkable by the President of the United States’

“If you look at the big picture, this was remarkable by the President of the United States,” Bash said on CNN Tuesday. “This is a nonpartisan, this is an important thing to note and to applaud, from an American standpoint, from a human standpoint.”

“[Trump] is being the kind of leader that people need, at least in tone, today and yesterday, in tone, that people need and want and yearn for in times of crises and uncertainty,” Bash added.

This is amazing when CNN has notoriously been known for being negative against Trump and with the President often taking shots against the outlet by calling it “fake news.”

As Coronavirus Gets Worse, Trump Takes Action

As of Tuesday afternoon, the coronavirus has infected 5,213 Americans and killed 85. Nearly 200,000 cases have been confirmed globally which has included 7,800 deaths.

As Americans everywhere are trying to take the right precautions and social distancing measures, so much of these necessary actions have severely disrupted businesses. President Trump is trying to get a $850 billion stimulus package that features mostly tax relief measures.

Fox News reported, “Roughly $500 billion of this would be tied to a payroll tax cut, while $250 billion would come in the form of Small Business Administration loans and another $58 billion would be directed to the airline industry, among other measures.”

If this happens along with other actions taken by the President during a time when Americans need it most, maybe this won’t be the last time we hear something good about Donald Trump from CNN?

Most importantly, everyone should be pulling for President Trump to succeed right now as our country continues to navigate this trying time.
