Cindy McCain, the wife of the late Senator John McCain, said her husband would be “very pleased” with Biden winning the election.

McCain, who endorsed the Democrat nominee, was seen as playing a pivotal role in Biden’s strong performance in Arizona.

“I think my husband would be very pleased,” McCain, who will be serving as part of Biden’s transition team, told CNN during a Monday night interview.

“We were good friends with the Bidens,” she added. “And I just know he is looking down and going, ‘You did the right thing.'”

McCain also told the ladies of “The View” that she “loved every second of” Biden’s victory speech over the weekend. So much so that she watched it twice.

Cindy McCain’s Support of Biden and John McCain’s Revenge

Conservative radio talk show host Mark Levin sarcastically congratulated Mrs. McCain for being responsible for Biden winning in Arizona and accused her of settling a score by “screw(ing) over the rest of the country.”

“This is how she pays you back,” Levin told the “tens of millions” of people “who supported her husband against Barack Obama.”

Last week, Mike Murphy, a former aide to Senator McCain, claimed a Joe Biden win in Arizona was revenge from beyond the grave.

“It could be the revenge of Senator John McCain,” Murphy said during a segment on MSNBC and before the state had been called by the Associated Press.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott Won’t Acknowledge Biden as President

‘Doing the right thing’ as Cindy claims John McCain would have been pleased with, apparently involves selling out every one of your principal beliefs because President Trump was personally unpleasant to you.

One would assume the McCain family’s Republican values would include being pro-life, lower taxes, and freedom from government, yes?

Imagine being so entrenched in the “orange man bad” philosophy that you abandon jobs and the economy, freedom, and the lives of the unborn.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott meanwhile, has joined President Trump in not acknowledging Biden as the winner of the 2020 election.

“Democracy depends upon fair and open elections,” Abbott said in a statement.

“We all agree that every legal vote counts and that illegal votes do not,” he continued.

“There are processes in place in each state to determine if any vote is legal, and we must respect those processes to ensure the integrity of our elections.”

The president’s campaign has refused to concede the election as they pursue litigation in states in which they are disputing the validity of a number of ballots.
