CBS Ignores Their Own Poll on Mueller Probe

CBS News conducted a poll on Robert Mueller’s special counsel investigation into Donald Trump and his associates’ alleged Russian ties, and decided to not report on their own poll as the results concurred with Trump’s assessment of the investigation as a “witch hunt.”

Last Tuesday morning, CBS posted the results of a new poll they conducted on their website about Robert Mueller: “A year into the special counsel investigation into Russian involvement in the 2016 elections, a slight majority of Americans thinks the investigation is politically motivated. Fifty-three percent say so, while 44 percent think the investigation is justified.”

The poll found that a majority of Americans think the Mueller probe is a political witch hunt, and yet CBS never reported on it on television.

Instead, Fox News had to report it.

According to the Conservative Tribune:

While CBS failed to broadcast the results of its own poll — as it undercuts the pro-Mueller narrative — Fox News picked up the slack and reported the results on its network last week.

“Well, a new poll from CBS finds that the majority of Americans, 53 percent, now view special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation as a politically motivated operation,” Tucker Carlson reported on his May 8 program.

“And you can see why they might conclude that,” he added. “The Democratic Party seems to be agreeing with that interpretation and adding to it.

“Recent fund-raising emails from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee have lied about the investigation itself. They have claimed that if the party can collect 1 million signatures, it will somehow force President Trump to give testimony to Mueller’s investigators … because that’s how it works.”

Sean Hannity also chimed in on the poll results.

Interestingly, the poll found that 23 percent of Democrats think the probe is unjustified, and the majority of Independents also find the probe to be unjustified (54 percent unjustified vs. 42 percent justified). It’s no wonder that CBS wanted as few people as possible to hear the results.

The liberal media is so invested in promoting the Mueller investigation that will do anything they can to ignore the truth. CBS’ decision to not inform their viewers that the American people view the Mueller probe as a “witch hunt” is more evidence that they are rooting for Trump’s failure.
