Both Biden and Bernie Support Planned Parenthood–Does That Include Selling Parts Of Babies Born Alive?

The two top contenders for the Democratic presidential nomination, Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders, are strong supporters of Planned Parenthood. On Saturday, Sanders introduced his “Reproductive Health Care and Justice for All Plan” which would expand federal spending for Planned Parenthood.

“When I am in the White House, we will fight back against the Republican assault on abortion rights across this country and defend a woman’s fundamental right to control her own body,” Sanders said. “As President, there will be no doubt that in the United States of America, abortion is a constitutional right. Period.”

No doubt, this sounds wonderful to Democratic voters, the overwhelming majority of which are in support of abortion being legal.

But is their position on this issue more ghastly than they are willing to admit?

Washington Examiner: ‘Abortion doctor admits sold baby parts often came from babies born alive’

The Washington Examiner reported in September, “In an unprecedented hearing in California this week featuring Planned Parenthood executives and the undercover videos made by the Center for Medical Progress, abortion doctors revealed uncomfortable truths about the industry. In one such testimony, Forrest Smith, an obstetrician-gynecologist who performed abortions in California, testified not only that Planned Parenthood and other abortion clinics were selling aborted baby parts for profit, but babies were often born alive, then murdered, in order to ensure the organs to be sold were more fresh and intact.”

“Smith, who said he had done at least 50,000 abortions, testified that based on what he saw in the videos and what he knows about the abortion industry, he believes doctors performed abortion procedures so that babies would be born alive, even though it puts the mother at greater risk,” the Examiner noted.

How do these “doctors” carry out these gruesome acts?

‘Very few people in abortion, outside of Planned Parenthood, do that’

“According to Smith, large doses of that drug would trigger ‘tumultuous labor’ and suggested the baby is often delivered so quickly, it needs no ‘assistance from the abortion doctor, no instrumentation,’ or in another words appears to ‘fall out’ of the mother and is born alive,” the Examiner detailed.

“Smith also testified that ‘very few people in abortion, outside of Planned Parenthood, do that.”

Obviously, many Americans differ on the issue of abortion. However, the “pro-choice” argument has always been that the fetus is not a fully formed human being and therefore does not deserve personhood status.

This report indicates that babies that were born were being dissected for their organs for profit. This means there is a viability that most abortion advocates insist doesn’t exist when most of these procedures take place.

This is something very different and horrifying than what most abortion advocates claim happens.

Shouldn’t Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders Be Pressed On This?

During his September testimony in a San Francisco courtroom in September, Smith said, “You can kill a human being, which I admit abortion is, but you have to do it in certain ways.”

Is what’s described in the Washington Examiner report a “certain way” Joe Biden or Bernie Sanders agree with? If not, should they be pressed on their support for Planned Parenthood?

Isn’t this also an issue more American voters should know about when determining the next president?
