Former Fox News Regular Bill Kristol Insults Fans of Network and President Trump

Bill Kristol is arguably the most recognizable Republican to try to rebrand themselves as “one of the good Republicans” (in the eyes of the liberal media) in Donald Trump’s America. The former Fox News regular raged against his former employer today and criticized the network for covering the migrant caravan headed to America.

Replying to CNBC’s Jon Harwood, who remarked that “the United States of America has a Lou Dobbs problem” (in reference to a controversial segment on the caravan in which a guest claimed George Soros was funding them), Kristol said that the “United States of America has a Fox News problem.”

Kristol was just getting started:

Does Kristol think that pro-illegal immigration is a conservative position? Or is he not even pretending to be conservative anymore?

Kristol wants other Fox personalities to quit, too

Kristol was a regular on Fox News for an entire decade before departing in 2013, two years after he and Fox head honcho Rupert Murdoch got into an argument that reportedly had a “cooling effect” on their relationship. Last week, he called on current anchors to follow his lead and depart from the network. He said on MSNBC:

“I’m a free speech person, and I’m not for being super fastidious about calling people to account about things that are said in the heat of the moment and so forth/ (But) at the end of the day I think Fox, with its evening lineup, Fox Business with Lou Dobbs, the routine stuff that is said there, people who work at Fox, the management of Fox, the shareholders of Fox, the corporate board of Fox really need to look in the mirror and say, ‘Are we comfortable with this? We’re making money.'”

Someone must be taking Kristol seriously for him to keep getting airtime, but it’s certainly not anyone on the political Right.

For some reason, Kristol claims to be floating the idea of running for President in 2020. Good luck with that one.
