After beginning Sunday night’s Democrat debate with a cough, Joe Biden had a 10-second lapse in which he mixed up coronavirus with swine flu, called H1N1 “N1H1,” and referred to the Ebola virus as “what happened in Africa.”
The campaign for President Donald Trump shared the clip of Biden’s debate gaffe.
“We should already be sitting down and planning where we’re going to put these temporary hospitals. And we can do that,” the Democrat frontrunner said before going off the rails. “We did this before with the coronavirus. I mean, excuse me, we’ve been through this before with, uh, dealing with the viruses that, the N1H1, as well as what happened in Africa.”

Trump Shredded Biden Over Swine Flu
Biden’s defense of the Obama administration’s handling of the swine flu epidemic comes after President Trump called them out for failing the American people during that time.
“President Obama made changes that only complicated things further,” Trump said referring to current testing issues at the CDC.
“Their response to H1N1 Swine Flu was a full-scale disaster, with thousands dying, and nothing meaningful done to fix the testing problem,” he said, “until now.”

Biden’s Mess
President Trump’s campaign has also criticized Biden for making reckless comments about swine flu at the time saying, “the Obama [administration] had to clean up his mess [and] apologize for his ineptitude.”

Fox News political analyst Brit Hume recently wondered if Biden’s verbal missteps – which have been increasingly odd – is “getting senile.”
Biden’s Gaffes
Biden has, on multiple occasions, forgotten what state he is in, forgotten what he is running for, and even forgotten Barack Obama’s name. In another video clip, similar to calling ebola ‘what happened in Africa,’ Biden faceplanted when trying to quote the Declaration of Independence.
