Former President Barack Obama, speaking at a private event on leadership in Singapore, affirmed his belief that women make better leaders than men.
In doing so, he declared that a majority of the world’s problems are a result of men, particularly of the older variety.
“Now women, I just want you to know; you are not perfect, but what I can say pretty indisputably is that you’re better than [men], he told the audience.
“I’m absolutely confident that for two years if every nation on earth was run by women, you would see a significant improvement across the board on just about everything,” he added, including “living standards and outcomes.”

Sleights Joe Biden
Obama, ever a carefully calculated politician, surely must know how comments like these are going to translate to a Democrat party that hangs on his every word.
Is his declaration supporting female leadership an endorsement for Elizabeth Warren or Amy Klobuchar?
It’d be difficult to make that assessment. But it surely is a sleight at frontrunner Joe Biden, who served for eight years under Barack Obama as his vice president.

“If you look at the world and look at the problems it’s usually old people, usually old men, not getting out of the way,” he surmised.
“It is important for political leaders to try and remind themselves that you are there to do a job, but you are not there for life, you are not there in order to prop up your own sense of self-importance or your own power.”
Biden is 77-years-old and has been involved in politics since 1966.

Woke Obama
This isn’t the first time Barack Obama has pandered to women with ridiculous sweeping statements denigrating men.
At an event in Paris in 2017, Obama stated more women need to be elected to public office “because men seem to be having some problems these days.”
“Not to generalize but women seem to have a better capacity than men do, partly because of their socialization,” the former President generalized.
The comments seem to contrast Michelle Obama’s thoughts from the same year in which she suggested Trump-supporting women were traitors to their own gender.
“Any woman who voted against Hillary Clinton voted against their own voice,” she said, still fuming over Trump’s victory.
To the Obama’s – who view everything through a prism of race or gender – how about simply voting for leaders based on their qualifications and merits?
Maybe stop trying to push people into office based on what demographic they fall within, but rather their ability to lead.
